We do now, too.
We used to have a 3-way frige, so would run on battery (recharged from TV) during travels... now we just leave it on gas. No more worries about draining the battery when we forget to flip the switch after we get to our destination.

We do too. Have run it that way with two rigs over the last 16 years with no problems.

We do - on previous trailer too. So does everybody I know.

we do but use only one propane tank. At times we use the furnace also to keep things from freezing when we travel south in November.

If the travel time is 2 hours or less I turn the frig off. If travel time is greater than 2 hours I run it on gas. Items of importance, wine, beer, milk, butter stay cold in the 2 hour range because the door is not being opened and closed.
