I don't see any problem.. I believe that all slides are made the same. I would find another unit like yours that has the awning already installed and copy it. (I'm sure you'll find someone on here that has one) Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

What kind of awning are you talking about. A slide topper awning to keep debris of the top of an awning for slide window(s). If it is a topper awning then you have to make sure you have room between the top of the slide and the top of the coach. . . I figure it is probably a window awning since you are concerned about wall bracket supports.

On the other hand, if you're talking about adding a window awning, it should not be a problem using the supplied hardware. We had our dealer mount a large one on the main slide over the dining table and sofa windows. I later put a smaller one over the window on the entertainment slide to block the sun bouncing off the desk top. Screws, caulk and large pop rivets to mount it and it's very secure.

planning on installing slide topper awning,i have plenty room from top of room to top of rv. my concern is with exterior wall where brackets mount to wall to support roller tube. I am no sure if there is enough material behind fiberglass to support, goggling shows all to have 1/8 inch luan laminated to fiberglass. thanks for all replies.

The roller support for a slide topper mounts to the top flange of the slide wall. Perhaps this photo will give you some idea of how they are mounted.
