slide floor issues

Hi guys i have a 2009 bighorn 3600rl 5th wheel

the issue that we are having is that on the edges of the slides floors on the outside, its showing wood and some of the tarp looking material has been rubbed off i assume during the years. Some of the wood has rotted a tad bit. How thick are these floors and how can i solve this issue

I'd start with Heartland Customer Service at 877-262-8032. Have your vin# ready. Maybe they still have the kit available.

Bend aluminum pieces of flashing into L's to put over the exposed plywood then caulk the seems.

Go to your local lumber yard and ask for "6" aluminum Fascia", it comes in 12' lengths for about $8.00. And most lumber yards will have white in stock.
