Slide room ceiling getting spongy

My 2012 Big Country gets bubbles in the ceiling during the hot season but shrinks back up when it cools down. Now my wife says the ceiling is getting spongy. There were several threads about this a couple of years ago but I can't find them now. Anyone else have similar problems/advice?

Have you inspected the slide roof for any areas where water may have entered? All sealed up?
If the roof is spongy it kinda sounds like water damage.

My slide ceiling has bullet lights mounted in a small dead space. What I see from the inside is not the roof, but plywood covered with the same covering as my walls. That spongy feeling is just the thin 1/8" plywood flexing. Any bubbling could be the glue not holding properly; maybe from humidity.

I sealed the end joints and rear window. There was water stains running down the rear wall from the window. Haven't noticed any new leaks. I'm hoping the sponginess is just from the thin material flexing.
