Hey everyone, too bad to here about canyon rv but there still alot of nice parks around if we want to just go to a different one, but im up for anything so everyone have a good nite.

I am with the sandman. Let's find another socal park for the weekend of Oct 18th. Anyone with any ideas? Let's get proactive.

Southern calif rally

Hey guys, here are some rv parks ive been to and there are really nice parks. Vail lake, The Springs at Borrego, butterfield rv ranch. The springs at borrego never stayed but seen it ,it is very nice. So there are a few to mull overtalk later buy.

If all the folks that voted for the 18th of October would like to go to Vail Lake instead, I will call them and see if they have room for us. But I will need to know how many are still interested. OK gang here it is... short and not so very sweet. I called vail lake and they are booked for that weekend. "Halloween"???? Sandman mentioned some other places and Dennis mentioned Pachanga. BTW Pat only works until noon that day, just like the time we went to Vail last April. Now if I could impose on sandman to do some inquires on some of the places he mentioned and post them, it would be a BIG help. And yes Sandman, your friends are welcome and their SOB's are too. We are not snobbish we just like alot of people to enjoy some fun with us and watch Larry park. So when we can put this all together bring your popcorn and a chair.

I just called Pechanga Resort and they have spots available for $42 per night if we get 10 spots, a little more if we don't get the 10. It's a nice park, with a casino next door if you like to gamble. It should be a good central location for everyone.

Thanks Dennis, temecula is only about an hour for most people that have shown interest for the 18th. The CG is very nice and has concrete pads and some pull throughs. Sandmans drive might be a little longer but hope he can attend. So, please post if your are going to join in so I can get a count on how many spots to save so we are all together. Bob

Hey eveyone checked on a few THE SPRINGS AT BORREGO has sites for us if you would like to go out there. It is a nice place has all the hot mineral spas, tennis horseshoes fishing lake and on and on you know the stuff. Check out the web springsatborrego.com so seeya guys.

Sandman, thanks for the effort and advise. Dennis and I looked into it and it may just be a bit far for a short weekend trip. Some people don't get off work until 5 PM or so. That would put them out on hwy 86 and #2 late at night. BTW, we will keep it in mind though for a long weekend trip. I believe that Pachaga is probably our best bet at such short notice and not too expensive. I know that Larry (crash) and Debbi like wine, so we could drive out to "wino" country here in Temecula. It's about a 10 minute drive. Just a thought. Bob P.S. the late at nite would be Pat and I

It will take at least 5 of us to drag your drunken body back to the campground LOL just kidding DennisZ. And since I will be there way before you, you will miss the parking show. After reading Larry's and Dennis's barbs at each other, it's sounds like we might have 5-6 coaches there. I will call tommorow and get all the info. It would be helpful if anyone else that want's to join in would post real soon so I can get the right amount of sites set aside. Larry, I am going to get someone to film your arrival so we can watch later when we are all there. Popcorn and beer for everyone at the showing. Bob

What ever happened to Bill D, Sandman, BP Mills, Sdgirl and all the others that live close to us???? We have about 3 weeks to get this thing done. Count us in at Pechanga. Do we need to make reservations, if so please get me the info to call them. Sure hope they have pull thru's as backing up with my eyes closed isn't what its cracked up to be. On our way to Vegas to visit family and attend the LV Rally that Forrest and Karen are throwing. We will miss you, old mentor. Sorry you couldn't make it.

Hi All,

Having teenage kids, our schedules change by the minute. I originally thought we'd be free the weekend of the 18th and could join up with you guys but I must have blinked somewhere along the line because now we have too much going on that weekend.

Anyway, have a great time and we will catch up with you one of these days.
