Soft, Sticky, Gooey Roof

If you do nothing the gooey stuff eventually dries up and starts flaking off...I guess UV rays. Mine still doesn't leak but I can see the black rubber membrane. I'm starting the process of Henry's coating. We'll see.....

Dicor told me as long as the black membrane isn't ruptured you are still waterproof.
 
Flex armor was the answer for me (https://rvroof.com/find-a-location/).
Dicor was willing to provide the materials for a new roof, but the real expense is in the labor.
Total would have been around $10K for a roof replacement.
I was able to have Flex Armor installed for around $7K.
Lifetime warranty. RV is also significantly cooler.
