Re: No 12 volt power available when disconnected from shore power
Shore power off
red on battery positive post - black on hot post of breaker - 12.57 volts
red on battery positive post - black on output post of breaker - 12.57 volts
black on battery neg post - red on hot post of breaker - 4.6 volts
black on battery neg post - red on output side of breaker - 4.6 volts
Seems like breaker is working??
These readings don't make sense to me.
With shore power off,
Red lead on battery positive post, Black lead on hot post of breaker - should read 0, not 12.57 V.
The reading you got tells me that power is not getting from the battery to the breaker.
Black lead on battery negative post, Red lead on hot post of breaker - should read 12.57 V, not 4.6 V.
Again, this reading indicates a problem getting power to the breaker.
Can you get the red probe of your meter on the battery cutoff switch, with the black lead on the negative post of the battery? There should be 2 terminals on the cutoff switch. With switch ON, you should read 12V at either one.
