Hi Douglas,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

I'm assuming you're using the remote start button inside the trailer. There should be another start button on the front of the generator. See if that works. If so, either the switch inside is malfunctioning, or the wires are off at the switch or at the generator.

If the switch in front doesn't work, check the thick red cable on the front of the generator. If your batteries are good, you should measure 12V DC where that cable connects to the generator. You also may want to wiggle it to make sure the crimp is good.

The other end of that thick wire, probably gets power from the battery by way of a 50 amp 12V mini-circuit breaker near the battery. If you don't have 12V at the generator, you'll have to trace power back to where it gets battery power.

Checked battery. 13.2v
Took a quick double take at the wires going from
Battery to generator. Someone at Lakeshore RV connected bot leads to the negative battery terminal. Hooked the hot to the hot, ignition.
Thankyou. :)
