You are correct. The spare on my 26LRSS is directly under the battery box and it looks like Cliff's is too. For some reason it look like I have a little more clearance than Cliff. Anyway here's a couple more pix.
Well I hate to admit it, but when I looked again (trailer is kept in a storage lot) the spare is in the same location as yours. The problem it turns out is that the bracket was mounted off-center. So I have plenty of clearance on street side, but rubbing the spring bar on curb side. Looks like an easy fix. Thanks again for your pictures, which pointed me in the right direction.
