I obtained a short receiver section from Princess Auto and welded it under the tongue on passenger side.
now when I unhitch I can store drawbar and w.d. bars up off of the ground and out of the way as well.
I did the same with our SOB TT. For the bars I installed two pieces of 4" square PVC fence post, using a hinge for the top cap. This kept the bars, which were well greased at the hitch end up and out of the way.
I've seen some leave it attached to the trailer minus the truck. Kind of like a Hensley. I just stow them in the front compartment off door side until needed as I'm permanently parked right now.
That's a good point. Plus I like to leave with the trailer because I shouldn't need it at home. But if I'm at my site and need to relevel after a heavy rain I'm all set. It's not in the garage or shed.
