Thermostats

I want to replace the Dometic thermostats in our 2012 Landmark San Antonio with the new generation digital learning thermostats. Honeywell, Nest, etc. I would like to be able to control the Temp and humidity when we are away from our Landmark for a few days via the Internet. Long term goal is to make our Landmark a smart home. Hate the Dometics with a passion.

I know people have talked about this in the past, but I don't remember if anyone has successfully done so. But I'm sure if they've figured it out they'll share what they did.
