Tightening Knobs when Awning Deployed

I can't remember exactly, but had to do with the shock. Ours would go out about 2' and then jump out a bit, making a "clunk" sound. Once he tightened it, it no longer did that.

Guess I will try lightly tightening the knob by the door prior to closing and see what happens. I don't mess with the knob on the other end, but maybe with slightly tighten that one also in the future.
