So I have a Torque TH 325 with 1 AC in main room with ducts on both sides running front to back. I removed pop up fan vent cover in bedroom to run romex from front to garage where I plan to add second unit in the spring. This was set up for a ducted unit and so these are connected to main run. I'm thinking I can cut away the plastic from the fan vent cover and add a 2x8 vent. This will allow more airflow into the bedroom from main room AC which only has 2 round vents now. Whereas the main room has 4-6 plus bath has 1. Obviously I will be blocking the runs running aft of the last set of vent circles eliminating the garage.

Do, add these? or not?

Or, do I cut 4" holes in line with ducting and add ventilation that way?

Thoughts?

Scott

Decided since I removed garage from the system, I put the vents in the bedroom.
