Tornados in Oklahoma

They are safe according to posts on FB they were in the cellar.

Thank goodness for storm shelters. We don't have one in TN but several of our neighbors do. We actually never thought about it when designing the new home. To do again, I'd put one in the ground under the crawl space. One day we may add one to the garage.

Jim and All:
It's really hard to comprehend what the people in Moore, OK have gone through. I was watching CNN late last night and saw a clip tracing the path of this tornado and 2 previous F4-F5 tornadoes Moore has suffered in the past 14 years. ALL 3 TORNADO PATHS ARE VIRTUALLY THE SAME PATH/PLACE!!!
Designers may have to rethink the idea of underground tornado shelters after the reports of schoolkids drowning in the school basement storm shelter in Moore.

Let's all say a prayer for them.

Update on Molsbee's - Larry Keever posted on the OK Chapter Facebook page that Molsbee's Bighorn was parked at the house - so it is gone :( They were sheltered somewhere, so they are fine. That's the important part :)

Oklahoma is really getting hammered by tornados right now and it may continue for another day. I think a prayer is in order for the folks in Oklahoma and especially for all of our Heartland friends for the safety of them and their loved ones . . . Oklahoma city is getting hit really hard with grapefruit sized hail (they had pictures of the hail on Fox news). God bless them all.

Just got home last night from Marseilles, Illinois doing flood relief work. Now on stand-by to go to Moore, OK. Pray for those affected and those who will be there trying to help.

Ken, thank you for your work, I know it is appreciated.

I spoke with Oklahoma member Orville Wright a few minutes ago. They went into their storm shelter and heard the tornado go by, about two blocks away. The only damage they suffered was debris in their yard.
