Towing with Dodge Mega Cab

Sorry for the late reply -- I have a 2010 3300 RLB that I pull with a 2009 Dodge 2500 Megacab. It works great! From what I have read, the 2009, 08, and 07 models are identical from a body and frame perspective ( and almost in every other way also). The Megacab does great. I have my B&W Companion hitch as far forward in the bed as possible and I still have 4 inches of clearance between the nose cap of the fifth wheel and the back of the cab when jackknifed. The truck and Sundance make a great combination.

I have a 2003 Chevy 2500HD with extened cab short bed. Did not need the slider but put it in anyway could not hurt. If by chance I have to pull someone elses trailer I am all set. The slider was only $200.00 extra.

Lorimar, welcome to the forum.
If you feel you need a slider, go for it. Some use em, some don't.
FYI, this thread is two years old.
