Tv reception

When using the bathroom vent fan it interferes with the TV reception. Any ideas on why or how to fix the problem??

don't use the bathroom fan....sorry, couldn't help myself. mmmmm....unless you're watching tv while in the bathroom....that could be a problem. i'm sure others will have a more intelligent response.

A fix posted some time ago is to install a .001 microfarad/35V ceramic capacitor across the motor terminals (or as close as possible) to short out the electronic noise created by the motor. The capacitor must be in parallel to the circuit, not in series. We get the same TV and radio interference from the fans. It's on next season's To Do list.
