Vesta Dishwasher Installation Opinions

Has anyone used one of the Vesta brand RV dishwashers, AND has anyone installed one as a built in using the available kit? DW would like for me to do this, but I am a little leary of anything that adds new water lines and requires some woodwork.

Gus,

Check the rough-opening requirements and compare them to the cabinet you want to use for it. I recall wanting to have one installed in my GC but the cabinet was not deep enough.

Hi Jim,

18 5/8" deep for the Vesta. Deb wanted the Fischer and Paykel, but it's 23+" deep, so definitely out of the question. I believe the Vesta will fit, either in next to the sink (by replacing a couple of drawers), or over to the side where the double door cabinet is. Over on the side I would have to make sure the slide would still clear since it moves in over the counter in that area.

I'm concerned with it's cleaning ability though. Just haven't seen any reviews that gave me a good yay or nay feeling.

I think I may have seen a Vesta in a proto-type RV recently. Nice that it's shallower than the FP.

Wow! 6 years to wake up this sleepy section! I wondered why it was still here. Dishwashers may now become the next trend.

This one looks about the same, and a bit less money at $279. Has the same dimensions. This company has several models in the size range.
