Not as glorious as some of the photos in this thread. But this was from the weekend before Christmas, at Lake Livingston State Park, in Livingston, TX. Didn't manage to get a waterfront site, but this site had lots of area for the kids to play and there was a walking/biking trail right at the edge of the woods that led down to the lakeside near the playground for the kids. Maybe 100 yards through the trees, so it was close enough to the water, but tucked away in the trees so the cold wind was blocked enough to enjoy.

Here is the view from the door of my teensy little Heartland Prowler 5'ver at the 2018 Heartland Owners Club Mountain Regional Rally in Pueblo, Colorado this week:

JohnD, I always look forward to your photos. Some of them make me just want to hook up and head out on the road. Just curious...is this photo taken with a telephoto lens, or are the units actually parked as close as they appear?

Thanks!

These are parked that close...shot with a 50mm film equivalent lens!

The rally is being held at the Colorado State Fair Grounds in Pueblo and they have the RV sites packed in close together.

Alan_B, I don't know where your travels thru Newfoundland are taking you, but if you have the time and inclination, you might enjoy a day or so at the Lion's Campground in Port Aux Choix on the Western coast. The campsites are right on the ocean's edge and the sunsets alone are worth the stay. Great wi-fi also if you are interested. If you do go to Port Aux Choix, be sure to check out the flat rock shoreline...fossils everywhere you look.

Thanks Greg. So far we have spent time in Gros Morne National Park and St. Anthony. Today we drove to Twillingate.

I don’t think we will make it to Port Aux Choix but thanks for the recommendations!

and just to throw in one more photo...an iceberg from yesterday’s boat trip.
