WDH setup

I wanted to see what you all thought about this setup.

Hitch is a e2 hitch trunnion, 8000 lb bars.

Trailer is 29 feet, weights 4950 dry with a tongue weight of 495.

I had to redo the set up from the dealer as I think he rushed the process.

I'm pretty sure I followed the instructions right and the measurements came out ok. Is the rear sag to significant? If so how do I fix this?

Trailer looks level but truck is nose high. May have to lower the hitch head and readjust the bars for more load to add more force to rase the rear of the truck

What @rahewett said. ^^^^ looks like you set your trunnions right. Just need to move the head down to compensate for the difference between the height of the truck and the height of the trailer tongue. You will need to readjust the trunnion mounts on the trailer tongue after moving the head. I had to do the same when I upgraded trucks. And again when I moved the hitch to our new trailer last year.

I ended up raising the trunnion mounts up one hole. I think I got it as about as level as its going to get.

The truck looks much better. There 3 measurements I focus on when setting up/adjusting:
1) getting bars as parallel with the tongue as possible
2) bringing the front fender high as close to 'unloaded height' as possible
3) leveling the trailer

When all those line up, a little squat is expected from a levelled truck. You can ride as is or you can add airbags to bring the back end up when towing.

I had airbags on my 1500 with my old trailer and just installed airbags on my 2500 a few weeks ago after getting a bigger & heavier trailer. They should not be used to compensate for exceeding the weight limits of the truck, but are perfect for adding stability and leveling the truck.

Measure ground to top of front wheel well at the fender unloaded. When the WDH set up properly, the measurement will be the same of slightly lower. If it's higher you need to readjust.
