What did you do to your camper today?

Added a 4" 120V fan at the top vent of my Rm1350 fridge. Holding steady at 38 degrees on power level 4 ever since I put it in this afternoon. Just "jerry-rigged" right now, but will figure out a permanent mount later.

I did this mod in my 2011 BC as well. Seems to help. I have a switch on it so I can turn it off when the fridge is not in use as we have the unit plugged in all the time at home.

I don't have the info with me, but search Amazon for 120V computer fan. You'll see several. I think mine was by Axion (or something similar to that). I had to put a short heavy duty extension cord with two plugs on it in the backside fridge compartment. The cord from the fan was just a hair short and both available plugs in the fridge compartment were being used.

I added some Rubbermaid wire shelving to the bottom of our closet for shoe and clothing storage. Pics and full description are on Landmark-Modifications subforum.

Got the license plate tab for our 2015 Prowler . . . no more paper plate!

Saved $100 by transferring the plate over from our 2013 Trail Runner . . . still was over $700!

You can see the paper plate here.

Just got back from a 17 day trip and noticed my inverter panel on the inside not lit up. Troubleshot and found ground cable in the compartment bay had come loose. Easy fix and all is good now!

Loading rv for a several day casino trip :) Guess we will try to see if the money we deposited in the slots last time will give us some interest :)

Good luck with that, seems they always want me to deposit more and never withdraw....

I installed a stain glass window on the Horn

Did you replace the whole glass or is that something you put over the existing glass window? The stain glass really looks good.

Just discovered a few minutes ago that the shock absorber (or whatever you call it) that is attached to the top of our entrance door was loose.

Upon closer inspection, all three of the screws that hold it into the outside top of the door were all out about halfway, so I got out the ladder and tightened them up, only to discover that all three of the screws were stripped!

I had some that were the same length, but a little fatter, so put those in, but one of them is still loose in the screw hole.

Even though the two are pretty tight, it looks to me like this is a bad design and will only give us more grief in time (have only had the trailer out for six nights since we bought it) as it has flexed the frame of the door itself (might have to replace the door maybe?).

I also noticed that the other end where it is attached above the door was loose as well, and when I got up there to tighten those screws, it looks like someone had already worked on it as there is a bunch of black goop behind it and the goop was covering the screw heads as well.

Guess I'll have to come up with something different for this as I don't think it will hold.

And I doubt that any warranty repair will fix the problem, but just replace it with the same thing.

I don't really like the fact that this shock only allows the door to open halfway as it blocks the air flow through the door (see it in photo below).
