What did you do to your camper today?

We ordered theater seating to replace the two rocker/swivel recliners. It was the only way that we found to get matching material. We looked and looked to find coordinating colors but I knew the DW probably wouldn't like anything as well as the factory seating to match the couch. Pricy but if Momma's happy, then I will be happier!

Replaced the pop-up stopper in the bathroom sink with a removable one from Lowe's so I can clean or fix it it without removing the entire sink next time.

We changed out the old carpet in the basement for the diamond plastic that was used in the basements at one point. DW has been wanting to do this for awhile so we finally got some in and changed it out. I have enough to do it again if we ever get bored lol. Btw this was a very sweaty job in 95* temps and 98% humidity with an occasional shower thrown in. Here are some before and after shots if you are curious.

I heard it is a 12-pack and a pint of Wild Turkey!

Oh wait . . . that's me! :p

John D, when I finish in New Mexico, I will be in Colorado along the Colorado Trail providing support for my long distance hiker son. Your quote looks pretty good, so I guess I will stop by the liquor store on the way out of town and buy a couple of hours worth.

We picked up our Landmark 365 on MAY 1st 2015 and have had to take it back and forth a few time for warranty repairs. Which often is the case with new coaches. We will be very happy when all of the bugs are worked out of it....
Here are some of my upgrade projects that I have been working on.
1) Installed 4 Group 27 Batteries. I had to make a custom box to fit the 4 batteries and vent them. I'm in the process of re-doing the whole thing right now to clean it up some.

2) We had the Solar and Generator installed at the dealer. They did a nice job, I just had to change a few things to clean it up.

3) We installed the RV-lock with wireless key fob door latch. Love it !!!
attachment.php

4) I installed 2 inline wireless remotes from (superbrightlights.com) on the LED Awning lights to dim them from 100% all the way down to 25%. They also flash & strobe but that's not our thing.
attachment.php

5) we had a custom hitch made for the rear to hang the bikes
attachment.php

6) I ordered and installed another tire carrier and I had a 26"X56"X8.5" sheet metal box mad which is in powder coating right now. When its all done it will house my 17' Little Giant Ladder
attachment.php

7) We switched out our recliners with theater seats thanks to Lippert. Definitely worth the hassle !!!!
attachment.php

8) We had the pass through silverware drawer customized with a sliding silverware tray to make better use of the entire drawer space.
attachment.php

9) I installed a Blue LED step light to match our landmark sign

10) It is going to the paint shop Tuesday to
have some touch-up on the factory paint job. So we are having them paint all of the ends of the pop-outs to match the full body paint. Cant wait to see it done...

I would also like to put a dimmer on our awning LED lights . . .

That thing is like a beacon after dark when they are on!

Well I didn't do anything to the camper but this might count too. I put air-bags on my truck today and I think I was in a sauna too.

Wow Jesstalkn, very nice mods.
Looks like you are missing a vent cap next to your solar panels.

Peace
Dave

Jesstalkin, I'm also looking forward to NOT having to move and strap down the recliners every time we move.

Here are a few more of the many mods we've done in the last few weeks. I got rid of that darn shelf on my side of the bed. It was in the way for getting in and out of bed and made it very hard (for Rhonda LOL) to make the bed every day. I was able to disassemble the shelf and it's pedestal flip it over and reattach the face trim. looks like it came from the factory that way. the first pic is not our RV but same thing

I also took out the 2015 Ashlands toilet and installed a Dometic 320 with sprayer. Much better
I think the 2016 have the 320 in them.

Today I picked up my ladder box from the powder coating shop. I found a gym mat at K-mart to line the inside, and installed it on my 2nd Tire carrier. Put in my Little Giant Ladder and it's done... Out of my way until I need it and easy to get to.

That is a really goo idea. I keep moving my little giant all over trying to find a spot for it. but I need it too many times to reach my awning. Do you have a cover to go over that box?

Thanks. No I did not do a cover, but I did design it to butt up to the bottom of the belly pan. I'm going to see how well it keeps the road grime and dust out the way it is. I was going to put a rubber door seal on top of the box if needed or a piece of angel-iron splash shield in front of the box.
I bought the limited edition black 17' Little Giant ladder, it weighs 45lbs and the stranded Little Giant is only 35lbs and the box I had made is 26" X 56" X 8.5" heavy duty sheet metal weighing about 30 or 40lbs so if I had to do it over again I would get the lighter ladder and make the box a bit lighter gauge sheet metal. Very nice. Did you buy the ladder box or have it custom made?

I had it custom made at a local A/C supply shop here in Manteca CA. It's 26" X 56" X 8.5" 18 gauge Sheet metal, I didn't want it to bend or dent. I think I could of went a bit thinner on the gauge sheet metal.
$135.00-Box
$100.00-Cash deal Powder coating
$89.00-Tire rack from Camping world on line
$300.00 for that **** ladder, then a week later they had the regular one at Costco for $127.00 "oh well"

Bought a new cooler last night that fits inside the basement door directly behind the truck.

The drive bar between the two landing leg motors was low enough that it impeded getting to the brewskies . . .

Not to mention getting the other coolers in and out of there easily . . . especially once the ice was melted and they were full of freezing cold water that dumped all over you when trying to get them out.

This new cooler is not as tall, so I can open the lid all the way and lift it strait up and out . . . and most importantly . . . it will still hold a couple of 12=packs!
