What is This?

There are two brackets welded to the frame at the rear of my Key Largo. One on each side. Can anyone tell me what is there purpose. I'm thinking perhaps a receiver hitch for light loads? Ken

You are correct, hitch brackets. Heartland recently started offering a hitch designated for carrying a bike rack. Not intended for towing.

I had read that thread but wanted to be sure what I was looking at was the brackets for that hitch. Thanks. I'm considering attaching a PVC pipe to those brackets to carry my folding collapsible step latter. I know it would be subject to being "borrowed" by others, but I don't have room for it in my basement. Love making mods to this 5er. Love It! Ken
