White River Campground

We just pulled into White River Campground near Cicero, IN and there is a Landmark and a Big Country here. I have not had a chance to meet and greet but will try before we leave. We are waiting for the grandkids to join us shortly.
Just went up to get some fire wood and saw a Gateway at the other end of the park.

Nice campground. We used it for an overnight this summer. Tell the other Heartland owners we all said "Hi!"

Dewwood, how did you like White River? We are looking at campgrounds around the Indy area and wanted to try it out sometime. Did you find the spaces large enough; level; nice fire rings and tables; etc.? Do you recommend them? Thanks!

We have stayed here several times and really like this park. Our daughter, son in law and grand kids live in Noblesville so we stay here when we are visiting them. The grand kids are coming out today to spend a couple of days with us, they are on fall break this week and next.
The park is run by Hamilton County Park & Rec and is well maintained and there is a visitor center and trails just across the river. The sites are concrete pads with FHU and several will handle the largest rigs. It is the only park close to our family so works out great for us.
