That is the exact model we had that became "obsolete" but there were models that came out later in the year that weren't affected. Recommend calling Winegard with the model and serial numbers to see if you have one of those that falls into the "obsolete" category.

Allen.Hyde - Allen, we made sure the little chrome cap is on and we are hooked up to the main coax

Rich Heck - We have the 50' power cord and it has power to the Winegard 1518 through the cord.

Betty and Lou - We talked to Winegard today and ask if the dish was outdated and she said it should still work. We wasn't home in front of the tv so they are calling me back tomorrow when I get home from work.
