I noticed my refer was flashing LP one day. Probably after a day of travel. WHen I noticed it, I was plugged into shore power.
I checked and sure enough, the propane tank that was on, was empty. Refilled the tank, reconnected it and turned it on, but the refer continued to flash LP.
Hm... Furnace and stove worked great on LP.
Travel day - no go. Refer would not light on LP.
Defrosted refer, returned to factory for small punch list and Bill's RV, a local servicer in Elkhart looked at it. It was fine!!!
Problem was that it was in a lockout mode when LP was flashing and once I replaced the LP tank, all I needed to do was reset/power cycle the refer to reset it from this LP lockout mode.
So, lesson learned - flashing LP does mean that you "were" out of LP, but you may need to reset the refer control circuit thereafter.
