We'll be coming in the 9th and leaving the 12th. We'll forego the wine tour this time. Looking forward to meeting everyone since this is our first rally.

Great! We look forward to meeting you!

I had a PM from Larry and MaryAnn Oberbeck that they are signed up for the rally. We look forward to seeing them.

I also had a PM from Jerry & Diane Talley that they have to cancel. We will miss them and hope to see them soon at another rally.

I will be posting the agenda in the next couple of days.

If there is still room, add Frank and Debbie to the wine trip on Friday. We should arrive about 10.00 AM. Hopefully we can get the "Lil Guy" docked in time to make the trip. We're looking forward to meeting everyone.

Just bought our Big Horn today, haven't even taken delivery yet but will by this rally. How do we reserve a camp site after they are released back to the grounds? can we come to the rally and learn how these work?

thanks

Hi teasac69,

Congratulations on the new Bighorn and welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. Hopefully Nancy will see this post and let you know how to get a reservation (I assume you've already talked to the people at Bushman's). Once there, I'm sure you'll be able to get any questions answered and you'll have a great time.

Their number is in the first post along with info about the winery tour and the agenda. You should be able to get a reservation. If you have any problems, please let me know. Once you get a reservation, please post and let me know the dates.

Anyone traveling down Hwy 49 toward Bullard? This is a new toll road and not in my GPS...I assume it's good for RVs?

Yes, it is good RV's. Some sections of it are a two lane road with no passing, but it flows good. It is part of the Texas Toll System.

Yes this is a great road albeit TOLL road. 75 mph wide with passing lanes. Goes from I-20 at mile marker 553 to Texas Hwy 110 Troup Hwy that goes through Whitehouse. You have an exit at Hwy 69 for Bullard or another at Old bullard Road.

If you update your GPS it should start to show up. My Garmin Nuvi 750 did not show it initially but during the last update/download, it now shows on the GPS Map.

To stereotype...are you bringing jambalaya as a side dish? :)

No problem and the way I cook jambalya is not a side dish it is the dish. Lol. Actually I am doing a 4 gallon pot of it this weekend for our tailgate. Come on down.

If you happen to have a toll tag from any of the Texas agencies, you will be charged through the toll tag. Otherwise, I suspect they mail you a bill. It is an easy bypass of Tyler. Very dark at night, as there is not much out there!

Please add Stacy and I to the list (reservations are made). Not sure she is going to make it, but I'll be there. Sounds like fun!
