Same for us...rides there all the time for quick power after landing in evenings and before flight in mornings.Our little Yamaha EF2000 rides in the back of the truck. Only weighs 44 pounds so it is easy to carry from truck to back of Bighorn when I need to use it.

Right on.1-2 solar panels on the roof and you'd never have to take the generator out again for those quick overnight stops. We're always at 100% when we get where we're going.....free power!!
we have a tonneau cover. But if we didn't, I would buy a cover for it. One without a label so nooone would know what was under

Have the tonneau to keep it covered when not towing. But when the cover is retracted for towing and you got the rain coming down. Do you cover them then? I was thinking about a rack on the back like Holbert has, but that might be a project for next year.
We store ours in its box in the basement on the slide out tray. Easy to get to, but not in the way.
