    tv using suround sound speakers.

Just going to add, I dont know why the manufactures dont do this when they install the A/V equipment. I am guessing this "problem" is one of the top 3 posts and would only cost the manufacture two bits and less than 1 minute of time to do.

    reply to thread

On thing I have learned is that if I have a long winded post I am about to compose I write it on Word Pad then cut and paste it on the forums. Like you I have made long posts that "disapeared". Doing the Work Pad thing cuts down on the agrivation.

Add me to the "stupid" group! Several time I thought my post was deleted because it disappeared. Thought it was strange because my posts are NEVER controversial or out of line. he he. Finally came to the conclusion that I was replying and not posting. This forum is not alone on this "problem"

It looks to me that it is not an HD dish. IMHO the new flat screens without HD are junk.

would like to see a front living room unit

A few years back there were some front living rooms out. They disappeared. Dont think they sold well. My guess is the cycle will be repeated.

I think I owe an apology

Don I know where you are coming from. When we got our first Bighorn we had some problems that I didnt think should have happened. I got madder than a disturbed hornet at time. Could have choked anyone in the trailer building business at that moment. Come to find out the dealer (which I became...

    Trailer sections

Thanks for the reply Jim. I know the RM3500 problems are in at least three different locations. Could be more but didnt look. Sort of thought things could be consolidated and possibly help the speed problem. But then I am not the one that has to do it. hehe. Hope I dont come across as a belly...

    Heartland Debuts Full-Time Landmark Fiver

MSRP's starting at only $68000. My lowly Bighorn was more than that. Well, according to the Colo. DMV mine is a $84000 trailer. I will trade ya straight across for one of those new bad boys!

    Trailer sections

Yeah I just figured that out. Well, It could be a little easier. Just clicking the back button on the mouse would save me some very important time! Hehe. Actually I thought that Landmarks, Bighorns, Big Country etc. could be all one combined community forum as they seem to share the same...

    Trailer sections

Jim When I go to the Bighorn community and want to vist the Landmark or Big Country when I back out it takes me clear to the start forum page then I have to click on Communites again and then pick another brand. Thought it would be easier if it would just take me back to the select brand page.

Was giving this a thought. When I go to Heartland brand Communities and go to Bighorn and am done there I back out and it takes me clear to the start page. Have to jump through the hoops to get back to where I was. How about grouping the trailers together similar to what the Heartland web site...

    Heartland Owners "Cruise"?

Re: Heartland Rally "Cruise"? Ya all have a nice cruise! Wouldn't get on one of those darn things if it was free. Saw many sitting at port in Mexico under quarantine, sitting out in the middle of the ocean with no land in site gives me the creeps too. But wont go to Mexico again either. Guess...

    Delivery time?

Ours was suppose to take 8 weeks and came in 6. Ordered the GY tires but they forgot to put them on. The dealer had someone else put the tires on and they dinged the wheels. Tire guy sent us a check for $500. Cant even see where the wheels were dinged unless you get about a foot away from them...

I posted a reply and posted a new thread yesterday. Both took so long after I hit reply I opened up another tab and checked out RV.net while waiting. Swiveling recliners

Good idea, but Renee resigned from her job and we are in a near full speed retirement mode, watching the scheckles. 6'3" and 250. Smaller wont work. Five months in WY in one spot, 3 in AZ in one spot. Moving them around is not a problem. Horn in the storage lot, will probably take the bottom off...

    Swiveling recliners

Ok I kinda asked this some where else but there are so many topic areas on this form I get lost. Anyone know how the keep the recliners in the new units from swiveling? A guest has already scratched a wall from a run-a-way recliner. Dont need the things to swivel anyway so a permanent fix is...

    Hitch

I had a hitch installed on the old 3055 to pull a 400lb trailer with about 1200lbs of ATV's. The professionals that installed the hitch made me sign a wavier that I would not pull over 3500lbs.

GM's new Max & Al show

Kinda fun though a little silly. I wouldn't worry about the Fords much. Last Ford video I saw was on a mileage comparison. Touted as the most accurate test there was. Only thing is they compared a "11" Ford to a "10" Dodge and "10" Chevy. Thought that was a little strange.

    Sewer Boom

Jim when they discontinued the boom did they relocate the sewer pipe? Ours is somewhat under the living room slide and would be easier to use if it was centered up between the kitchen and the living room more. Could stand to stick out a few inches longer from under the trailer also.

    New Recliners?

We swapped our recliners from the small slide to the large slide. Couch works great in the small slide and there is no need to switch them when we bring the slides in. Took the kitchen table and moved it 90 degrees and took out two chairs. Lots more room for the recliners with table between...

    New Recliners?

I never figured out why trailer manufacture did not use the "wall away" chairs. I just make sense. We are pretty pleased with the ones that came with our unit but will admit "wall away" would be far better. They don't hold there positions too well, and swivel too easily but I cant figure how to...

People that upgrade almost new rigs

We went from a truck camper to our first fiver, a "06" 3055 we ordered. Seemed like the Taj Mahal. Our stick home is open and we could see living room(TV), dining room, kitchen from every angle. After spending more than 30 days in the fifth wheel we seemed "trapped" especially Renee when she was...

    Slideout Slicker Question

Lowes has a department that has plexi-glass/lexon. They always have some scraps. They had one just the right length and even cut it to width for me. Cost was about $4. I tried them but the slide kept pushing them away. Gave up but I may try waiting for the slide to tip up and try them again.

To those considering a Heartland Bighorn

A few of the thing that simply amaze me that we knew of but did not give much in our consideration to purchase our new one. The floors are as solid of the Rock of Gibraltar. Slam baggage doors are much better than the others. Hydraulic landing, how could I live without it now? Inset halogen...

    Receiver hitch for 3610re

The brackets are already welded on the new Bighorn frames. All you have to do is order the hitch from the dealer and bolt it on. It is for 1 1/4 hitches and I think it is around $110.

Another year gone by - sad - time to winterize the Augusta

Ya, I had to shut ours down in Sept. 9000 feet on the WY. Snowy Range dictates that. Good news is it heads to AZ for 3 months in Jan and I think a simple blow out will suffice that time of the year when we come home the first of April.
