We have Dish and a G2 as well. Anything over a 50 ft run and ours will not work. I had to replace my coax after two years of use, I am guessing it had a break somewhere.
I did the same kit on my 02 F350 years ago except for the intake. I went with an AFE setup instead. I also did a Mishimoto intercooler and radiator, FASS, and a bigger trans pan. I upgraded the turbo to an ATS, Diesel Site HPOP and some hybrid injectors, chipped it and left it alone after that...
Those springs look flat to me. I do not think anyone would recommend that you tow your rig nose high. It puts to much stress on your axles. Adding 4 inches of lift to your trailer will cause a whole different level of issues. Is your pick up lifted?
I think the easier question would be where not to camp. We have never had a bad experience camping anywhere in our state. It is an easy task finding trails to bike and hike, that is a popular thing to do. Pick an elevation you are comfortable with and find an rv spot and go. Just make sure you...
I would recommend that you do travel to see each if needed. For what they charge for these rigs you should make that effort. We use a list of want and must haves that are personal to us. One example is we will not buy a rig that you cannot access the refrigerator when the slides closed. Make...
I would fix it by getting a thin piece of paneling, thin plywood maybe, quilting batting, and some fabric of your choice to cover it all. Make a headboard of sorts. If there are supports behind that wall you could simply use decorative screws to hold it in. Otherwise I have had good luck with 3M...
Welcome to the group! We are in SC for a couple more weeks and then we are headed north. Just be cautious and deliberate with everything you do until you get used to your new rig. Safe travels.
I have seen many of both being used. My advice, get an antenna that can pick up both the eastern and western satellite arcs. At the very least the eastern arc if you do not plan to go west often. We found out the hard way that our tailgator wouldn't receive all of the western arcs the further...
From my experience working on an ambulance as well as in an ER, everyone is taking a risk taking any drug. Nothing out there has the same affect on everyone else. Its not any different than peanut allergies. Educate yourself always and pay attention to the way a prescribed drug makes you feel...
Gasoline is not a worry from our experience. Although I can see the convenience of not needing to carry a gas can all the time. In our travels we have found that we have to travel further to get propane than gas. The last three RV parks we have stayed at do not have propane. Where we are now we...
As usual Dan gives good advice. Another thing to consider is what situation do you plan to use it the most? There could be a huge difference in what you purchase if you only need it to keep some items operational while boon docking compared to wanting to use everything at a NASCAR race. We have...
On a 5k oil change schedule, I put 2.5 gallons in somewhere in the middle and have them top it off when they change the oil. Def is so easy to find I do not carry any with us while traveling.
Without knowing the year of your pickup every comment will be opinion. I am not a firm believer that you can modify any pickup to tow more than what the factory built it to. That is a a lot of trailer to be pulling let alone pulling with something outside its limits. You also did not mention if...
The shorter the trailer the more difficult it is to back up IMO. Longer trailers are more difficult to back up in tighter areas. We used to own a Northtrail and it is my opinion it is a step up from the prowler.
At least you are asking questions. Every three days is to often to drain a black tank. We are able to go about 8 days the two of us on the black tank. I leave the bath gray open until 3 days before the black tank drain, and I keep the kitchen gray closed and that lasts about 4 days before I need...
Oh the quest for the perfect rig. One thing I know to be true, when you have a bunk house or a toy hauler something has to give. Usually in the kitchen you get less storage or less counter space. I would be willing to bet more storage is what people are wanting thus the design.
Sorry you are going through what you are. There is no reason for it. I have always wonder if they included the weight the trailer forces down on the axle when hitting a dip or like you said a bridge transition when they build these rigs. There is a good reason why so many people upgrade their...
It is much cheaper at a rally to talk about beer. Beer is delicious, everyone has their favorite, less talking happening when drinking, after a few you get tired and go to bed, in bed you talk to no one about any mods, you spend less money. Beer!
We looked at the Traveler last year when we bought our Big Country. More options would make it a Gateway or above. We had the Oakmont which was replaced by the Traveler and full timed in it for a year without issue. If you want more options you have to install them yourself or upgrade the entire...
I would recommend some leveling blocks and a water pressure reducer for your city water hookup. Other than that all of us could recommend things that work for us but might not for you. We are always adding and getting rid of things as we go. You will figure it out as you go. Congratulations and...
Had a great time at this rally! It was fun seeing familiar faces and meeting new people as well. Safe travels to everyone. See you soon.

Anything is easy when all is going well. You have been doing this for 3 years and things just haven't been going well recently? Sounds like a good track record. This too shall pass. Keep on keeping on and safe travels.
