Had similiar experience. While raising the RV, one of the leg got in a bind because of movement due to unstable footing. After I corrected the foot/leg stability problem, the leg became free to move as needed to left the RV.

The "assembly paste" that I made reference to is not a Loctite product. It doesn't lock the threads, but lubricates. The paste is a lubricant that is formulated for assembly of fastener threads. I will post the Dow Corning product number in a few days, after I return home.

My Dometic RM1350 manual shows a pt. no. 2007290006 for the 10 watt 12 VDC lamp. I would recommend checking with Radio Shack to see if they have a replacement bulb, they have a varity of bulbs that you will not find in the Big Box stores. Lowe's also has some bulbs that might fit this application.

I maintain a min. of 10 psi according to air bag manufactures recommendation when empty. I don't have the luxurgy the onboard compressor, therefore I use a hand pump to infate to 35 psi when hauling. Easy to inflate with a hand pump.

Tom, Did you get a brush (similiar to tongue depressor with short bristles) to clean the seal and ball? One of these brushes came with the package of OEM info when I took possession of the RV. Haven't had to use the brush yet, but looks like a good tool for this job.

I had the same experience with two of the seals being bent from the factory and allowing grease to escape into the drum and on the brake shoes. In the future, I will repack the bearing the old fashion way, i.e., remove hubs, thoroughly inspect all parts and hand pack the bearing.
