Ultimately you are right to do whatever makes you sleep good.
When I went to Discount (my trusted tires source for 20+years) they tried to steer me to the Hartlands as well. I had set my mind on Sailuns so I really wasn't interested in the Hartlands. I told him I would look them up and so I...
Page 10 of the rv tire guide shows the 17.5 tire to be 75mph rated, I think.
eedit: and paGE 16 shows the 614 RST 75 mph as well.

I stumbled on a alternative method of bike storage recently. I implement this in the toy hauler garage but it might work in other areas of a RV.
I use the pipe bases for the garage table and the table pipes as vertical stanchions which the bikes are strapped to. I used to just throw the bikes...
If it's a squeaky pop, pop, pop noise I found that was one of the gas springs was bad. Not sure what exactly was bad about it but a new spring fixed it.
You should be able to replicate all this in aluminum or stainless if rust is an issue.
You just have to watch for galvanic corrosion with the aluminum to steel connections, not the end of the world though just use some plastic sheet to separate the two.
Jerod, I plan on replicating your...
A molded fiber grate would be perfect flooring for that type of box, no rust issues but it is super expensive when bought from vendors.
We have a manufacturer local to us (fibergrate) and people use it in agriculture for allot of different applications, trailer floors etc.
There is no way they...
Thanks for showing us though, at least we can learn something. I think I would still do the retrofit as I haven't come to grips with the dicor removal just yet.
Jerrod, I wouldn't sweat it. I have used silicone several times (I am a slow learner) on some gutter extensions. Both sides have fallen off at least once.
But in my sticks and bricks I have attached the soap holder in a bathtub remodel and 4 corner shelves with silicone only. One of the...
I don't think it's so bad but I certainly understand your concern.
I might want to use some of the SikaFlex products to glue it on vs. Silicone. I have not had much luck with Silicone actually attaching anything to anything, seems like you can always pull it off in 1 piece once it fails.
I...
I didn't want to say anything because I figured he had already addressed that. It's a easy fix though on the older trucks just build a jumper for the relay 30-87 pins. You will lose the key off disconnect to the trailer, I never cared for that much anyway.
I assume the newer trucks still use...
Mystery solved, not sure how it relates to venting but your p trap is inline.

edit: After reading about it I'd say its a pretty novel idea, but it has to work.
Glad you got it running, if you need a board I highly suggest http://www.dinosaurelectronics.com. Their boards are a much better value than OEM and their customer support is second to none.

Doesn't help you much now but I understand AAA Premium RV would pay for trip interruption up $2500 I believe regardless of who makes the repair. Edit: I was wrong I think, they would pay if it was out of state, I see now you are in Florida already.
They also don't care where they tow the...
Re: Another failed Bike Receiver/Hitch System
These two hitches would be my suggestion for the bolt on crowd. edit: assuming the width is correct to fit on a RV frame. I can't measure at the moment.

Re: Another failed Bike Receiver/Hitch System
No way I would bolt through the wall to attach anything to the rack/hitch. That is asking for a catastrophic failure of the wall/cap.
The only solution is what I believe Jesstalkn did...
With no experience of your situation I imagine they have mounted a sub in infinite baffle orientation on a luan wall with no support?
I would build a 1.5 cu ft MDF box and attach it to the wall and to the floor, solidly.
The only way I can see a sub working in a RV is if it solidly coupled...
I recently did the TimK tent in a vent mod and can't believe how much that helped cool the trailer down.
It is so effective I will likely not add a second unit in the bedroom.

I wouldn't sweat the oil in the tube, since the EPA mandated closed crankcase vent systems we have had oil in the intercooler tubes, turbo etc.
H&S makes a bypass for that as well...
I couldn't find a 80 series just put the 85 on there. My axles are spread so its not an issue.
These tires seem really solid, well worth the money in my opinion.
They are not solid after being ran through the "pump" the fine water jet turns them into less than solids...
My 11 year old son though it was the grossest thing he had ever seen, you can imagine.
The Sewer Solution is not fast per se but it doesn't really matter to me because I have this at...
What about another Anderson valve, it's a 4 way but looking at the schematics you might figure out more uses for it or be able to dumb it down to just what you need.
Might also give you a spare valve on board for that time when you need it.
We are not in the sub artic climate zone but I have had great luck with using air to blow out the lines.
I don't bypass the water heater just connect the air hose to the fill port and starting with the 4 way valve on Winterize I turn on the air @ 30 psi. I will run the water pump for 30...
I use the Sewer Solution and 120' of 1" PVC.
Even with the low water pressure I have out at the shop it has no problem pumping the waste the 120'.
I store the pipe in a craddle on the back of my shop but might put it in a trench one day.
Even having to assemble the pipes it is is still very...
Have you looked at any bellows for the cylinder? I just had a though a shock boot might be suitable but there are other options. http://www.mcmaster.com/#protective-bellows/=12c2fez
On the winch drain holes on the bottom resting portions and silicone applied to the upper portions might help it...
Re: And so it begins - mods to personalize the rig
Have you determined what is required to install the CCII thermostat. I don't care for the single zone LCD stat and will be switching to something different soon.
If your wheels are high pressure 3750 lb rated I would put the 16" sailuns on there and sleep well.
I just put a set on last month and the difference in construction is amazing.
$143 (shipped) ea.
Re: Refer will not work on gas - not igniting
I too am having fridge problems mine is the opposite though, no AC.
After troubleshooting mine I would suggest the ignitor on the board might be the issue if all the cabling is ok. My ignitor cable is a orange color and easy to inspect for damage...
