I use when when I have to dump at home. It works fine for me for that use. I pump it 120' away from RV to the clean out on the house. I wouldn't use it at a site or park that had a dump station due to the speed and associated hoses required to use it.
I haven't come up with anything but I have found some possibilities. I would really need to have the harness connector to identify it. Can you get any numbers off the harness side? Often the connections on the plugs, sensors etc. are not made by the plug manufacturer they are just replicated by...
When I want disconnect a battery I want just that, nothing to work, no path for current flow.
It's two fold, I don't want my battery to discharge and I don't want any source of ignition.
The switch Heartland suggested doesn't seem to be able to disconnect the battery from the trailer but...
I was going to suggest this Deutsch connector to make a extension but I understand the not wanting to cut the factory harness.
But looking a the plug, I believe that (the rectangle 12 pin) is a standard ish fomoco plug.
I'll do some looking.
Hopkins should have the other 7 pin extension...
Can you get some close up pix of the 12 pin plug\receptacle?I have a decent nack for finding obscure connectors.
I would imagine Hopkins would be on top of an extension harness but you'll be at the mercy of production.

That sounds like what I was envisioning. I don't really understand how my stock door is not sealing correctly but so it goes with a cardboard house on wheels.

No worries I am in no way wanting/needing a new trailer. I was driving down I35 and noticed the trailer and it peaked my interest.
I like gadgets and that trailer fits right up my weekend warrior alley.
OUTDOOR KITCHEN IN A TOYHAULER!
Gotcha, looks like the speeds are 1630/2730 FPM so you'll just have to be careful on ferrous metals. 18TPI will be good but you might want to be allot slower depending on what your cutting. 100 FPM is a normal steel speed. There are a ton of conversions on the web that use some jack shafts and...
Exactly, for the times you don't need the toy box you could pull in to a site setup and have to sleeping areas with out unpacking anything.
I also didn't notice it before but I saw last night there are two pass throughs, maybe not as good as the giant basements on the larger units but better...
Nice toy, one of the best tools in my shop.
Really makes you wonder how you got along without it.
I converted mine to steel cutting @ 100 SFPM. What is the slowest it will run?
This would be my thought as well. If I were to check the pressure you might need a gauge to read higher but to fill the tires the max would be 110 psi.
A 130 psi scale sounds correct to me.
Good points, I think the floor is actually more like the Teal line I added.
For us, we don't full time and have two little(ish) kids. The garage of the toy hauler is there room. So it must be cleared of all BS once setup. Obviously we don't have a giant basement like the Cyclones or Road...
The Solitude 374TH-R
This seems to be a cross between the Hidden Garage Torque and a Regular Fiver.
For my family this would be awesome. I don't need a full blown 13' garage just a place for bikes, golf cart etc.
Competition breeds innovation and I like this direction.
Not trying to...
Any pix of the top rail added to get a seal surface up there. I can see daylight through the top of my door. It might just need to be raised up though on the hinges.
Fabbing a rail is easy too though if needed I just want to see what you have used.
When I have done that in the past it didn't back feed because the backup lights were on a relay which effectively acted as a diode (open) when the truck wasn't actually in R. If the new trucks backup lights aren't relay driven you might have to diode or relay the circuit. I still don't...
This is one of my favorite mods so far. I don't have any cool stabilizer systems on my rig only the scissor jacks. With the trailer as tall as it is it requires a small lumber yard of wood to get it leveled or supported. I got some 2" thick plywood from work and thought it would make a good base...
Yes that would be the correct method outside of a shunt. Make sure your amp clamp is DC rated though, often the off the shelf variety are AC only.
I don't have allot to add about the breaker, the style of breaker I have heard referenced on the hyd pump is a really wimpy device intended for...
They are local to me and I bought a set 10 years ago. They worked so-so for years but one tire rotation I noticed they didn't sound right and I found the beads were stuck and/or not moving.
They never cured my balance issues though 100%. Still have them hanging on a peg in my shop.
Hard to say...
Your right on with your thinking definitely something to check out. If it's already leaking it's likely going to have to be resealed though as there is no gasket.
There isn't a conventional PCV but there is a crankcase breather ducted into the inlet of the turbo intake tube. It mounts on the...
The diameter of the FoMoCo switch is just too small correct?
Two o-ringed aluminum bushings could adjust the size to adapt to the wheel hole then?
Might be a business opportunity for some CNC shop.
Just a thought.
First ever dirt biking Thanksgiving in process.
I reconfigured the bike chock bar for two little bikes and one large. I have several chocks made up to swap on and off the bar. I added two more tie downs a foot to the rear so I can still walk around the front. I bought the toy hauler to be able...
That might actually be a reasonable explanation.
I was really sceptical that steel belted tires are a no go, I think steel sidewalls would be a better description, still unfortunate if they won't work.
When your leading the way there are some pot holes, you'll get it going though.
I had...
Mine has done the same thing I don't think it's is there for anything but cosmetic. I think there is butyl behind the seal, some exploration might be needed to confirm.
This model Torque has zero wall mounted electrical outlets. That seems to be pretty normal as the wall construction doesn't lend itself to accepting the internal wiring.
My wife has to have scentsy smell good things plugged in at all times. So this was unacceptable to only have one outlet in...
Thanks guys!
One of my biggest downfalls is documenting stuff I do. Once I get rolling a camera is not a tool I pick up.
I need to get a better system of picture storage so I can at least find the pictures I have taken.

These are not on the trailer but pertain to...
I am not the best documentarian around so this might be a train wreck.
I don't even have pictures for allot of these mods.

The 1 ton Toyota dually with the CAT 6.6 was the one that missed.
It doesn't surprise me at all if this is true, FPT (Fiat Powertrains) is already building engines. Buying engines at a premium I'm sure from another manufacturer is hard on the bottom line.
This type of teamwork helped CAT to...
You might check over all the fuel tank vents just to be sure it's not just pulling a vacuum.
I personally don't care for the pump to be mounted at the front and the tank at the rear, especially with the tank lower than the pump.
Another tip is to install a strainer before the filter to help...
This was going to be my plan if the Sewer Solution didn't work out.
Great thread and build.
I will add if anyone is looking at Cam-Locks there is an alternative to the stainless or aluminum style that might be more fitting for a RV. The Banjo reinforced nylon fittings are very strong and...
Thanks for the reply's.
I suppose if I think I need a slide topper I will need the cradle as well.
My waterfall unfortunately was inside the RV. I had parked on a sloped site at a music festival towards the door side. When I got it down off the jacks water was pouring off the edge of the...
Hoping to not hi-jack...
After a deluge of water from the slide this last weekend the wife has tasked me with acquiring slide toppers for the slide we have.
So the slide topper cradles I am wondering about, these just support the mid point of the topper so they don't bend going down the...
