We tow our 3670RL with a 2012 Chevy Silverado 2500HD (Duramax & Allison transmission). We've pulled over 25,000 miles up and down the Rockies, Sierras, Cascades, etc as well as through deserts with no problems. We did get the tow package which includes engine braking.

Why don't you paint the cabinets? Skylights do let in more light, but also more heat. So, in a trailer where you're already keeping light out of the windows due to heat, you're exacerbating the heat problem.

We've never had to use it, but we'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

That's why we use the truck keys. We ain't going nowhere without them!!! Notes or flags won't stop us from leaving. Truck keys, on the other hand......

We were just down in Charleston over the weekend. Our acs ran nonstop. Ours is older, but it cooled us out west (Nevada, Arizona, NM, Texas) than back here. Humidity? Not sure. Wish I could be more help. Martha

It's hot here - no two ways about it. We have learned to keep our shades drawn so the sun doesn't heat it up more. Do you have dual panes windows?? Martha

We keep the shades closed where the sun shines in. It keeps it cooler inside. Not familiar with your set up, but our bedroom is in the front of the trailer with our closets in the nose. We slightly open those doors to let the hot air dissipate and keep them open so it doesn't build up again...

We enjoyed the Nuclear Museum also and it's relatively close to a nice KOA. We also went to the aquarium and botanical gardens which were okay.

We were just in Williams in June. Several nice RV campgrounds there and an easy drive to the south rim.
