Welcome!! Look for any signs of delamination. Check the caulking for any signs of cracking. Check out every button, lever, and switch. Make sure you know what they do. Fill the tanks and check for leaks. Check for signs of prior repairs. Make sure the tires are NOT Towmax (do a search on this...
WHEW! Seems like if we like a restaurant, it closes quickly; tv show gets cancelled; products no longer made - starting to get paranoid! Glad BH didn't fall under the Kowalski curse!
We had them on our steps when we were full-time, but found them problematic. I slipped on the top step (wet & maybe a slick place) and tore my right Meniscus. Paul took them off immediately. We'd put them on when one of the dogs tore a nail. Fortunately, they're small enough to pick up and carry...
There has to be something else going on. I'd really suggest getting a name at CS who's giving the dealer the problem. And do you have a list of the warranty items?

Chill more wine! Seriously, we use plastic open mesh baskets for smaller items and wedge possible "escapees" between them. Even then we're cautious when opening.
If it's a result of a manufacturing error, why wasn't it discovered before now and why haven't there been other complaints? This is just a question I have.

Hi, MP_CS. Think we're saying the same thing using different words. Our PDI was done on the day we were there to complete the sale. I think that's what you're calling the pre sale walk. We had only 4 or 5 minor items which were rectified before we completed the sale. The only pressure we had...
Word of advice. Do your PDI before you complete the sale - you have real leverage then so anything not up to your satisfaction can be fixed before it's off the dealer's inventory. Also ask lots of questions and, if possible, record the answers because you won't remember everything. If there's a...
We ordered with both options and have had no regrets. We'd had no intention of ever being in cold weather again, but apparently Mother Nature doesn't listen to intentions and we found ourselves in temps in the teens. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.
Re: Refer will not work on gas - not igniting
Is your refrigerator in a slide? If so, check for a crimped gas line. Happened to us. If the gas line is crimped, have a new one put in since the old one may crimp again and again.
Gonna be a tight fit in site 73 - the KOA told us that's where we are. I'll give them a call.

Never mind - we're in 81. Thought we could sell tickets to the parking.
Hi. This is a forum for owners of Heartland products, but I'm certain that if anyone knows of a dealer or individual with one for sale, they'll chime in. Good luck in your search!
We removed ours by disassembling it. Of course it wouldn't be able to be reassembled once we got through with it! We also have the same kitchen you have.
If you're in the Myrtle Beach area and want to get a professional wash and wax, get in touch with "Keep It Clean RV Detailing". They washed and waxed our BH yesterday in the storage lot and it looks brand new. A friend with an SOB had bad oxidation on his camper and Corey (the owner) and his...
We love our 2013 model. We've had no problems with moisture and the biggest issues came from the tire blowouts (Towmax). We've made sure that we maintain it regularly (including caulk inspection and replacement). Small problems, sure, but nothing that made us regret the purchase.
