You have some great advice and I'll add only one thing I did not see---it has to do with sanitation---I take a small spray bottle with bleach/water mix to spray on the water connections before I hook up my water-- al currently in Surprise, AZ

If you are talking about your slides, I just use some silicone spray around all the moving parts and put some on the cylinder and then wipe that off. I do it each time if we have been sitting for more than a couple of weeks--if traveling everyday i do not do it. al currently in Surprise, AZ
