    2017 Cyclone 3611 Vacuum location

I'm not familiar with your particular unit, ours is a Cyclone 4005. But we access our vacuum unit to change the bags in the basement storage area. It's mounted in one of the removable walls.

    Musty odor in bathroom

I would measure both pipes, old and new. If they are indeed the same size, you can go to a hardware store and get a connection joint that will join the two pieces of pipe together. They're usually about 2 or 3 inches long, and the inner diameter of the connection joint will be the same as the...

    Slide cable has sagging

If it's like our Cyclone, that top trim is nailed on. We recently had a problem with the cables on one of our slides, and I just pried off the trim with a small pry bar. I'm going to re-install it with brown screws so it will be easier to remove when the cables need adjusting again. I don't...

Alaska trip with Cyclone 4005, Hartland tires and Andersen Ultimate Hitch

We just finished an 11,000 mile trip from Oklahoma through Canada to Alaska and back, towing our triple axle Cyclone 4005. Many of the roads were very rough, a lot of them just gravel or beat up asphalt, including the Alaska Highway, Klondike Highway, and Top of the World Highway. Before...

    Full way Termination valve

What they are basically warning you is to always have the black tank drain valve open when you flush the tank. If you run the flush with the valve closed, and happen to forget to open it, it could overflow up the toilet into your rig. That being said, after I have drained the black tank I...

RW 429 - access to fresh water tank to sanitize?

I bought a water transfer pump that attaches to my drill and uses standard hose connections to pump fluid into my water tank through the Anderson valve. Very easy and works very well. https://amazon.com/gp/product/B00F1ZJG5E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Replacement for Atwood Model 100867

Atwood was bought out by Dometic, so yes, Atwood products no longer exist. But if you search for Dometic propane detectors, there are 3 models of different sizes available.

    Possible Slide Leak When Retracted?

Check out Steele Rubber Products, steelerubber.com. They have about every type of seal for RV's. I've ordered from them a couple of times.

    External LP connection

We picked up a grill at Camping World that is specifically made to work off the low pressure propane connection on the RV. The brand we got is Aussie Grills, but there are others.

    4275RW dryer vent?

We have the Splendide washer/dryer ventless combo in our Cyclone. Haven't had it long, but it seems to work pretty well. Washing is very good, drying is okay. The key with these units is not to overload them, especially in the dry cycle. For bulkier items like blankets, we will use the...

    Exterior White Water Line Leaking?

On our 4005, the white water lines protruding from the underbelly are overflow lines from the fresh water tank. One time we had an issue of water coming out of those lines. Turns out the o-rings had gone bad on our Anderson 4-Way valve in the UDC. When we had it set to city water, it was...

    Generator question

I have run two of our AC units while on generator, so yes the Onan should handle it. Our 4005 has the same Onan 5500 unit. The only time I had a problem was when I forgot to turn off the AC units before firing up the generator. When I started the generator, both AC's tried to start at the...

    Valve Replacement

Unfortunately, none of these rigs come with shutoff valves on the waterlines for the toilets or sinks. That's something I strongly recommend you add. Shutoff valves for PEX lines are readily available at hardware stores. I added shutoffs for both our toilets and all the waterlines feeding the...

    My RV is leaking update

Do a search for mobile RV repair services in your area. Then call Heartland Customer Service again and see if they will authorize use of a mobile RV service. They very often will, although you may have to pay for the service call charge while your warranty would cover the actual repair. We...

    Wiper seal under bedroom slide?

Just looked a little closer at our Cyclone, which is also the same under the bedroom slide. I don't think there's a need to add an additional seal. Feeling around and using my camera, I can see there is a flat plastic plate the covers the floor area between the exterior bulb seal and the...

    Road Warrior 375 garage weight

I'm afraid I have no idea. But you might do a web search for those items and see if the manufacturer publishes the specs on them. Or check retailers online who sell those components as they sometimes post shipping weights which would give you a good idea.

    Road Warrior 375 garage weight

That model has a cargo capacity of 2,342 lbs, so technically yes you could. But that would leave you only 442 lbs of capacity for everything else, including all your personal items, the weight of water you may be carrying in the holding tanks, the weight of fuel in the fuel tanks, etc. You...

    Problem with Newport Air Conditioners

We had a problem with one of our AC's cycling off and not coming back on until I cycled the thermostat off and on again. A mobile RV tech finally diagnosed the problem as a bad relay in the AC control box. He replaced the control box and we haven't had any problems since. It does seem strange...

Is it ok to leave the inverter on all of the time

The inverter in our Cyclone has been on for 4 1/2 years. No problems at all, and has been pointed out by others it ensures our refrigerator keeps going if the shore power goes out.

2011 Cyclone Model 3010 Parts Listing

I've never seen anything like a parts list for any RV. Components are changing all the time so could vary from one rig to another. For questions on specific parts you could call Heartland Customer Service and give them the VIN number of your unit. They may be able to help with things like who...

YETI Pump Line, always on or only when below freezing?

I don't see why it would cause any problems to leave it on. Seems that would be safer than turning on and off, and possibly forgetting to turn it back on at night!

    Slide problem

That looks like the adjustment for leveling the slide from side to side (slide out of level). Ours has a similar adjustment on the outside, but appears yours is on the inside.

    Slide problem

The rod you see is where the adjustments are made to the hydraulic slideout. There are nuts to adjust how far the slide goes out, and how far it retracts. Ours was sticking out a little at the bottom too, and it was an easy adjustment to get the bottom to retract a little further. There is a...

    South Dakota

It's been a few years, but the last time I was there we stayed at the Mt. Rushmore KOA at Palmer Gulch Resort. A fairly large KOA, and even had some evening entertainment in the park that was fun.

    garmin rv 1090

Rather than spending money on a Garmin, I updated the built in maps in our truck's navigation system. We primarily use Google Maps, which thanks to Android Auto displays maps on our truck's display screen, but when we are out of cell phone coverage I wanted up to date maps on the truck's GPS...

    Jensen JWM 90A

Not sure if this is the problem you're having, but when we replaced our original TV with a new Samsung I found the new TV only had an optical audio connection, but the original soundbar only had the analog RCA cable connections (red & white cables). I had to buy a converter to change the...

    New tires

We also recently went with the Hartland tires at Discount Tire. I liked the fact the specs are a little beefier than the Sailuns, having a higher speed rating so better temperature resistance. Just bought them though so no experience with them yet.

Hartland RV tires for our Cyclone

Picked up a set of 7 Hartland tires for our triple axle Cyclone today at Discount Tire. They are replacing the almost 5 year old Sailuns that came with the rig. I decided to go with these after reading several positive reviews. They're not the cheapest out there but they apparently have been...

    Heating configuration

The 2nd fuel tank is an option on these units. That's how it's listed on the spec sheet for our Cyclone. Only one fuel tank is standard. I did check once and you can purchase the optional heat strip for the living room AC unit. But we opted not to do that because the electric fireplace is...

    I'm baaaack!

It's the fresh water line bringing water into your rig and into the fresh water holding tank. I haven't ever tried to trace it so not sure how much of the line is protected. If you search "Heartland RV" on YouTube, under the maintenance section there are a couple of short videos that discuss...

    I'm baaaack!

Not sure if it's the same on the Road Warrior, but on our Cyclone the red switch turns on the water line heat tape. There is a separate switch labelled "Yeti" that turns on the tank heater pads. All 4 of the tanks are heated, so you need to make sure there is some water in each of the tanks...

Winterize 2019 Torque 371 Toy Hauler

I'm sure it's very similar to our Cyclone. In the basement storage area, there are removable wall panels. The water pump is behind those panels which are held on with screws in each corner.

    Cyclone 4005 Updates and Fixes

I bought a Lippert Flow Max on Amazon. It was a very simple replacement. The plumbing lines screw on and off, and the 12 volt electric is just two wires. Took no more than about 15 minutes. Hardest part was crawling into the basement storage area to reach the pump.

    Hartland Tires???

My gut tells me these would be worth looking at. I can't imagine a place like Discount Tire deliberately selling a cheap, unreliable tire as their house brand. That would be very bad for business. The Sailuns on our Cyclone are low mileage but almost 5 years old so we will be looking at...

    Level Up Display Blank

On the question of retracting all the legs when it's time to leave, you should be able to do that from the front panel since you said that one is still working. If you hit the "hitch height" button, it will retract the rear jacks and raise the front. Then once you're hitched up you can use the...
