You’re more than kind Mike! I do appreciate your offer - but I’m making MORryde back up their own products, which should arrive Thursday, and they’ll pay for labor.
It IS peculiar how the ‘housing’ isn’t more wedge-shaped so the possibility of the rubber cushions blowing through the bottom...
Thanks everyone for your valued input. It was literally so shocking to see what has happened to my 11-month old upgrades, that I don’t believe I was fully understanding the gravity of it all at first.
I have been in touch with Jennifer Gregory at MORryde this morning. Fortunately, we are...
In doing a pre-trip inspection and lubrication, I noticed that our one-year-old heavier duty Mor/ryde suspension shackle is damaged. My first question is,
1) can we drive it from Bakersfield to the rally this week in Jackson (about 4 hours) in this condition?
And 2): can the Mor/ryde rep at...
It’s pretty tempting, for sure. Especially with the number of suspension problems we’ve heard about over the past couple of years. In my opinion, total suspension failure should be extremely rare, if not non-existent.

Has anyone replaced their flooring with luxury vinyl planking? If so, how did you raise the slide up enough to get the flooring all the way to the edge beneath the slide?

Congratulations Dan and Sally! Deidra and I are so jealous, but we’re doing our best to get to your situation :-) See you out on the road!

Well folks - I gave up, and finally humbled myself enough to step back into a Camping World (I’m not a fan of the owner’s politics). Long story short, I walked out with a Suburban Anode Rod in my hand which installed quickly and easily into my water heater opening.
Lesson being - perhaps...
Installed new exterior speakers on my BH3760EL. Had to enlarge the openings a bit, using a rotary rasp bit, in order to fit new Fusion MS-EL602 6” marine speakers. The OEM versions had foam surrounds which degraded quickly, as well as tweeter cones that fell off after one season

Thanks LBR. As a retired firefighter, we used those tricks all the time. Better yet, rotate counter-clockwise, and weight for a ‘click’ as the thread starts line up.
I appreciate your knowledge and help!

I’ll try all of your suggestions, jerryjay. Again, if I’ve done them prior [emoji41]
Today’s a new morning, thank gawd!

Not dumb at all: yes I’ve re-installed the old one a few times (just to prove to myself that my lyin’ eyes weren’t deceiving me [emoji85]. And yes, by hand, since I don’t have a socket that size - but today I head to Harbor Freight to pick one up [emoji56]

That’s exactly what I thought, from the beginning. Just not able to make it work yet (by hand), as much as I’ve tried.

Time to replace my rod. Received (2) 1-1/16” rods (wrench size) but they simply refuse to thread into the opening. Thread count and size appears to be the same, and I’ve struggled for nearly an hour trying to square up the threads and get them to ‘take,’ with no luck yet [emoji86]
Am I missing...
Flap is closing correctly (have run into that problem before). However, there is a bit less ‘resistance’ on the dollar bill challenge towards the top of the door, than the bottom. Any known adjustment for that?

I’m my case, I do appear to have 3 OEM fans working - so I am a bit perplexed.
Update as of this morning (after running all night): interior of coach 82 degrees, freezer 14, fridge section 41

We are aware of the many people who have posted previously regarding difficulties keeping RV-style fridges cool, especially in hot weather. In that regard, and armed with a new dual transmitter wireless thermometer, I thought I would check our rig before heading out on the road again next week...
Jarrod - are you still using motion detector switches for your interior lighting (pic #2), or have you decided to use magnetic switches instead? (pic #1)? Just wondering what your couple of years of road experience now tells you?
I get the concept - just wondering if this air duct is intended to be simply dropped into the belly ‘naked’, or connected somewhere to a fitting of some kind?

While roaming around behind basement walls searching for unused space, I noticed a loose pipe (pic #1) that may have been the cause of certain airflow issues.
The question I have (pics #2 & 3) is whether anyone has this 1.5” piping running to any particular fitting to heat the basement - or...
