Hi, We are hoping to travel up into British Columbia, from WA State next Fall. We are looking to find a park not too far into B.C. that has a reasonably priced golf course nearby. Am I asking too much??? :-). Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
It seems like something always interferes with our attendance at a Washington chapter rally. Every year my husband and oldest grandson play in a grandfather/grandson golf tournament and yes, you guessed it - it's the same weekend as the rally. They only have two more years with this...
Hello,
I know I can go out and physically measure, but can anyone tell me if they have any paperwork on the actual length of a 2011 29RKSA Elkridge? I would appreciate it.
Joyce
Hello, We are planning a trip to the Utah 5. The thought is to start in Moab and work our way to Zion. I would love any info on the route to take from Moab and campground info. Is it way too busy in June? I'm told there is one road in Zion we can not take our rig on. I understand Zion has...
Hi,
If you run into any trouble please let me know. Our daughter lives in San Mateo (15 minutes S. of San Fran) and I know how difficult it is to find a place there there doesn't cost an arm and a leg. There is a place near her house that stores RV's but we have never priced it. However, i...
Wanted to thank everyone for putting together an excellent rally. It's obvious how much work is involved in this and it was very successful. Thanks to Jim and Floyd, and all the rest of the folks involved. Job well done. Thank you to Len for the great music and organizing the golf outing...
Bill, I have never met you, but already know you are an amazing man. Many prayers go out to you and your family as you continue to bless them with your love and care.
Hope to meet you one day.
Joyce
Hi,
I'm not sure if you answered this in another post, but I was wondering about the dinner and entertainment at the "M". Do we need to pre-sign up for that? Is this included in our rally fee? Not sure how it works. Thanks in advance for responding.
Joyce
Rick and I are planning on coming to Silverlake. We've missed many rallies due to conflicting travel dates, but looking forward to this one. Will be in Vegas also. VIVA!
Can someone please tell me how to find a map to download and how to note the states visited? I am having the worse time...
Thanks, but we checked that and we had plenty of propane. It's an enigma.

Thank you we did that and all looks clear so we shall see what happens tonight.
I checked most posts/threads but didn't find a question like this. Any input would be appreciated.
We have been on a three month trip and mainly used our A/C. Then the weather abruptly changed and we needed to use the heater. It worked fine while we were just sitting around at night, but...
We are traveling across the US and I have made a lot of notes on the RV parks we have stayed at. I would like to know where most of you go to check reviews: trip advisor? Yelp? rvparkreviews.com? I want to post to only one site. I used to do rvparkreviews but it doesn't look like it is...
thanks everyone. I read a bunch of old posts as well. Rick discovered the pea traps were not tightly fitted. Upon fixing those the odor magically disappeared. YAY!
Hopefully this is the right place to post this.
I frequently smell a rotten egg - sulfur type smell under the bathroom sink. Typically this is when the grey 1 tank is about 2/3 full. Can anyone relate to this and tell me what may be causing this problem? Initially we thought it was...
Thanks for the info. We drive I-5 a lot - yes boring - but we hail from CA and make stops to see all of our family. I like your route and will consider that this year. Would you happen to have the name of the RV park? Been to Susanville before, but don't recall the RV parks there. Thanks for...
Typically coming home from AZ to WA State we take I-5 over Shasta and the Siskiyou Pass. This is typically in late March or early April and we have run into snowstorms at least twice on this trip. We were thinking of going home via I-95 and then to 395 and up through Susanville and Klamath Falls...
Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: WA, Deer Park (Spokane) - 7/25/2014 to 7/27/2014
Hi All and Merry Christmas,
I thought I had already replied to this thread, but apparently did not. Rick and I are booked in Site 58, checking in on 7/25 and out on 7/29. At this time our adult daughter...
This is more than likely the direction we are heading. The truck is so big and we like the benefit of the camera. We've used the factory tailgate so far and all is well. We were hoping to get better mileage and easier hook up, but I think we just may be sending this back to etrailer. Thanks...
We recently bought a 2012 F350 lariat dually. It has a back up camera installed in the factory tailgate. We just order a louvered tailgate and discovered if we switch we lose the rear camera. Has anyone switched out tailgates and if so, are you ok with not having the rearview camera. Or...
Kristy, Thanks for the great rally. Rick and I have been traveling around a lot and I'm sorry it took so long to extend our thanks. Had more truck problems in Roseburg, OR so wound up getting a new (2012) truck at the end of our trip. So the trip turned out to be more expensive than we...
We had a bad situation with leaf springs manufactured by Lippert. After working with them, after being out of warranty for over 18 months, they did the right thing. Check my post under "leaf springs" on 4/29/13.
Hi Kristy - We just made our reservations for Winchester Bay. We are coming from WA and meeting up with family (SOB) from SoCal. We are in sites 84 and 85. We arrive on 6/19 and depart on 6/25 (6 nights) Looking forward to it.
Thanks,
Joyce and Rick Morones
Re: Another case of flat springs
I just wanted to update everyone on our broken leaf springs situation. The Heartland folks pointed me in the direction of Lippert. I called Lippert and spoke with a very nice man named Shannon Hunter. The bottom line is he asked me to send pictures, with...
Re: Another case of flat springs
Thanks to both folks for the reply. The total weight for all four is 8.8k. We did not take the pin weight into consideration. I guess when they are manufactured, the factory may include the weight on the pin. However, considering 9700 lbs. dry - 10.8k is...
Re: Another case of flat springs
I believe there's more to these flat springs than poor Chinese quality steel. Our leaf spring broke on one axle as we were pulling out of our RV park yesterday. Luckily there is an RV repair shop right next door. They came back to our site - ordered the...
So sad to hear this news. I truly hope whatever it is that is causing you make this decision is nothing too serious. Thanks for making our entrance into the WA State Chapter so comfortable. Hope to see you on the road.

Re: 2013 Rally Discussion
If you want to consider state parks, our favorite is Wenatchee Confluence. It's great. Not that far from Leavenworth, Wenatchee for golf, etc., it has an amazing bike/walking path that goes forever and it's not all that far from Chelan either. Just a thought.
When we first took ownership of our new Elkridge, I noticed one of our recliners had rubbed against something and the "piping" trim wire was exposed. There were also 3 small slash marks on the back when may have been made from the mfg. opening up the boxes the chairs came in. Anyhow, I took...
Hi Steve and Analyn,
Rick and I joined this forum shortly before the rally last year. Due to previous plans we couldn't make it but wanted to see about attending this year in Twisp. I was wondering though, how do we get on your list of messages (pm's or otherwise)? I'm not sure if we are...
