Plastic one-way water valves behind commodes

The plastic valve behind our commode broke off yesterday. I had to disassemble the broken valve from the "PEX" pipes and install a new brass one-way valve. I found out I needed a "tough built" bolt cutter to break off the existing PEX clamps and a special PEX clamp pliers to squeeze on the new...

Vise idea from "Trailer Life" magazine

I made this vise from a 2" trailer tongue. I welded a piece of steel on the tongue and bolted the vise to the plate. The vise will rotate around as needed. It slides into the 2" receiver and detaches easily to store in the back if my truck until next time it is needed.

    Concerned about pipes freezing

We are picking up our trailer on April 12th fr the dealer after a PDI inspection. They must pressurize the water lines to ensure there are no leaks. After the PDI, we are worried about our water lines freezing and busting. The dealer says there will be no problem with that. I checked our...

    Heartland Trailrunner Spring Capacities

Before my PDI and taking possession of my trailer TR 25SLE, SN - 5SFEB2922CE246407, I took pictures of the under carriage axle and springs. I was concerned about the GVWR of 6900 pounds for this trailer, springs/ axles. Therefore, I took my pictures and concerns to Central Spring Service in...
