    Another Blowmax victim

This thread won't die until the LAST Blow Max is off the road! I related my experience with a local sherriffs deputy that I knew purchased a Greystone within a month of when I got my Sundance. I warned him to check his tires. He thanked me and said that they only had one more outing planned this...

    Another Blowmax victim

Yeah 'cause we all carry our failed tires around on vacation...... The Towmax tires are defective, we do not need a lab for that. As long as Heartland and other manufacturers move away from equipping these trailers with proven crap we the consumer win. Sounds like they are indeed moving away...

60 MPH going around Chicago = Death by 18 wheeler! I run 65 most of the time, but hills drift it up a bit. These tires are not suitable for a manure spreader with a SMV sign it!

    Another Blowmax victim

Two years and maybe 3000 miles and broke belts in two tires. I have watched them closely, these failed in the last 45 minutes of an 8-hour pull. Temp. was 82 degrees, speed no more than 68 mph. I had 5 failures in a single year on my old trailer, so I'm no stranger to these piles of crap. I was...

    3300CK Flying Ice Cubes

The insurance guy was out yesterday. He has to crunch the numbers yet..... But both he and I are VERY impressed with how well the trailer weathered. The fiberglass is perfect all the way around. Roof is fine. Damage is limited to the lower tin skirting on the slides, (2) window frames, and the...

Visor?? Keeping water out of rear outside pantry 3300CK

Bill, That's a definate option for those that don't want to pop a bunch of holes in the side or just want to "prove" that a gutter would fix the water problem. When it comes to dealing with water issues, ALL options are on the table. Myself, I did not want to deal with any adhesion issues down...

Visor?? Keeping water out of rear outside pantry 3300CK

I just went to my RV dealer and requested a 9' length of gutter and EVERYTHING I would need to install it. They had several pieces of take-offs that could have been had for cheap, but I thought $17 was pretty ok for new...LOL. My total was less than $50, but I already had the grey putty tape...

Visor?? Keeping water out of rear outside pantry 3300CK

Well kids it looks like a success. Several storms have rolled through and not a drop of water enterred the outside pantry and I did not even bother to lock it. I highly recommend this modification if you have a 3300CK. (Is it a modification if the factory used to do it?)

Visor?? Keeping water out of rear outside pantry 3300CK

SJS, Very interesting. I did a search and found the 11's with the gutters and hit and miss on the '12's. None on the 13's Here is a picture I found of a 2011 Looks like a running change in early 2012. Wow, looks almost exactly what I installed.....guess I'm in the wrong industry! They also...

Visor?? Keeping water out of rear outside pantry 3300CK

Well I went all in and opted for standard RV gutter. Hated to drill holes, but I wanted a factory style fix that would last. Les than fifty bucks. for everything to complete the installation. It has spouts on both ends, but is angled to favor drainage to the rear of the coach.

    2013 3300CK Blowout Damage

Is your '13 the newer colors with the tan lower and maroon accents or does it have more blue graphics. Mine has the maroon skirts and it looks great with the purple-burgundy skirts. Otherwise...ya.....Happy painting!

Visor?? Keeping water out of rear outside pantry 3300CK

I found this product while surfing around tonight. Looks pretty good ( I would prefer aluminum as well). If I found a place that sold it by length I would probably use it. http://www.trimlok.com/prod/Drip-Rail/Plastic-Profiles/All-Product-Categories_141/Drip-Rail_67.aspx

Visor?? Keeping water out of rear outside pantry 3300CK

I'm hunting for a solution to keep water out of the rear outside pantry door. In heavy rains water comes down the side and invariably ends up on the floor back there. Myself and the dealer have taken turns trying to correct the seal, but what it really needs is a "visor" / gutter over this area...

There it is. August and the Toybox has been removed from the floor plan illustration. 9 months after is was NLA. Thank You Mr. Webmaster. New Sundance Quality Issues

Somebody needs to take that stapler away from Mr Carpet installer. Our 3300CK has 50 gazzilion staples poking up, that sure makes a person wince on a bare foot. We have had many, many warranty fixes as well and plenty that I've done myself. I watched all the videos on YouTube that Heartland has...

3300CK imitation wood wicks water like a sponge.

The dealer replaced the seal and tightened up the latches. The tech said that the seal was cut at the top. They did not replace the messed up wood. I needed it for the 4th July week end and then it goes back for more work. It been in the shop for 3 weeks, but excellent work so far.

    JT Strongarms Install

Nice Post Steve. Looks great. I'll be doing the same with my 3300CK. When the little monkies are all active in the bunkhouse, those JT's would be nice. I completed my hitch (looks pretty much like yours) so I really appreciate your insight. Earl

3300CK imitation wood wicks water like a sponge.

Venting here: bear with me. I have my 3300CK in for a laundry list of warranty items, most of which are the expected little things. No big deal. The one that sticks out is the lack of the ability of the imitation wood, throughout the coach, to deal with any amount of water without swelling and...

Re: No response from Heartland Dennis, I'm with you on this. That picture is worth a thousand words, and they are all FAIL. The Blue is as out of place as a mini-skirt on a Hippo. I have yet to see the color of the awning on my 3300 CK. Mine was one of the first with the new color...

    3300CK Living Room TV Bracket

I mounted the 32" Sony LED TV last weekend. I ended up using a very basic fixed mount. I used a stud finder to locate the wood backer. The backer is lower than I would have liked, as I wanted to mound a sound bar under the TV. It will work for now.I've got about a 4" space above, and 3" space...

Bicycle carrier for 5th wheel ??

Good Point Dave, Warning: Use at your own risk. I neither endorse or recommend the use of this great value good working product. No warranty expressed, implied or cared about. Does that cover it?? Probably a good move by the Lawyers at Allen. It's a risky move by a manufacturer to actually...

Bicycle carrier for 5th wheel ??

If these are the same Lippert Engineers that designed the trailer frames and leaf spring hangers that I've repaired, I'd like to talk to them as well! So, where are we with this discussion.....oh yeah......bike racks. I run a 4-bike rack that I picked up on the road at Wal-Mart when my Yakima...

Bicycle carrier for 5th wheel ??

Static weight ( the camper parked in your driveway) and dynamic forces (4 bikes doing the boogie dance down Hwy 20 in Iowa) are two VERY different critters. You might get lucky. But my 25+ years in the metalworking field plus first hand accounts of bike parts scooting down Interstate 80 tell me...

Bicycle carrier for 5th wheel ??

DO NOT TRUST THE 4" SQUARE TUBE BUMPER TO DO THE JOB. I know it's real nice to bolt the little clamp bracket on there and move on.....but.....eventually metal fatique will cost you. Maybe you will get away with it, but you will set up the next family that owns the rig for failure. Bike racks...

Welcome to the Heartland Family. Iowans must have an eye for quality! I did a pile of research over the last couple of years as well. Sundance was not even on my buyer radar at first. What's with closing many of the Sundance Threads???

Jim B. Thanks for the explanation. Progress is painfull.......I'll try to adjust (deep breathe). What's with closing many of the Sundance Threads???

Ok lots of the Sundance brand threads are now closed / moved with no explanation. What's up? I bought my 3300 CK minus TV and picked up a nice 32" TV way back on Black Friday (saved big $$$). I'm thinking Spring and camping lately so I better get the TV mounted. Does anyone have a model number or recommendation for a wall bracket? Does the factory equipped one lock in place or are...
