Mine did the same thing the first time I ran the furnace. I ran it overnight with the fantastic fan going. Everything was clear in the morning and I haven't had haze since.

My 4000 does the same thing. On my last sob trailer the rear vent was just as Luke warm. It's a long run from the furnace to the vent. I'm resigned to leave get the door between the garage and living room open when the kids are sleeping back there.

I've thought about that as I watch the rv haulers go down the interstate. It amazes me that one trailer at a time comes out. Obviously smaller trailers fit on larger trailers. I also laughed when I baby the trailer realizing that the first 2300 miles were probably it's roughest.

Re: Furnace sets of smoke alarms I ran my furnace over night after it smoked during the first hour of running. I opened the vents and turned on the fantastic fan. It was clear in the morning when I went to check it. The reading I did led me to believe it was production oils burning off.

I like that he used the petcock to modify the cap. The drawback to other methods I'd seen were the fittings on the cap not being closed when not hooked to the extended run tank. Cool find.
