    I Don't Get It

Ok, sad but true, mine is a vacuum as well. A Dyson, ball vacuum ~cue choir of angels~. My dear husband can't seem to understand that it is a case of the right tool for the job. I am on my second crappy vacuum that I hate. If you can understand $300 for someone to detail your truck which...

    Starting to full-time

We are fulltiming in our BigHorn and the two options I wish it had come with (we bought off a lot) are double paned windows and a second a/c. Other than that, we find it more than suitable for our needs and comfort,,, best of luck, Lizzy

Where to stay in Corpus Christi?

Well it looks like Corpus Christi was just to give us a rough idea of the area lol,,, we need to find something closer to Aransas Pass after all. CJ, your park is full, I called already and they will call me back if anything opens up. Another place I am looking at is Circle W RV Ranch,,, I...

Where to stay in Corpus Christi?

wow CJ, ColonialDel Rey was on my short list of choices from what I could find online. I think we will be missing the Rally because we are headed to Montana next and will be there for two months before we make it down to CC. Himself will be working in CC so I want to keep it fairly central for...

Where to stay in Corpus Christi?

We are heading down to CC in a couple of months and will be there about 10 months. I would like somewhere that has a pool, an exercise facility would be an added bonus. Any recommendations?? Thanks in advance, Lizzy

need info quick on wind tolerance please

I believe that it is a sustained, 80 mph wind needed to topple over a parked fifth wheel. I read that once a long time ago and forget the source,,, Lizzy

    Landmark vs Bighorn

Yep, the Landmark is heavier. Maybe the one thing I like most about the Augusta over our Bighorn 3670 is the dedicated washer/dryer space. IF we had been aware that Landmarks existed prior to purchasing,,, who knows,,, Lizzy

    Anacortes area

http://www.fidalgobay.com/ We used to stay at a private park right across from this one but all I have done personally is drive through the park once. It is right on the water which is nice and you can go clamming on the beach. I thought it was very nice,,, Lizzy

    Mail Forwarding Services

We use UPS for our mail forwarding. They charge different fees per month, depending on how long you want to pay in advance then they charge you the cost of sending the mail on top of that. On the whole, we have been happy with the service and have been using them for just over a year now...

    I-76 Westbound 2 NT's 1 Sundance

We left Bailey, Colorado early this morning on our way back to Blair, Nebraska. We aren't towing, just left the BH at the rv park and stayed with friends. Within fifteen minutes of each other we spotted 1 North Trail trailer, 1 North Trail fiver and a Sundance. Where y'all going that you...

    When travelling

First of all, congratulations on your new purchase and welcome to the Heartland family!! You can buy rubber sheeting at Walmart, cut it into pieces and place those between your dishes while travelling or you can invest in an inexpensive set of Corelle and just leave them in your rig. I keep...

    From a Woman's Perspective - New Owner's Kit

My thought is why pay for something (and you would end up paying for it in the price of your rig) for something that Heartland would usually supply to you just by calling and asking? A lot of the items you mentioned are easily and cheaply picked up at a hardware store if you didn't feel like...

    Do you have friends?

It makes us one of the cool kids Midland, lol. Ok, so now I have found a practical application for it. If I wanted to find something that one of my friends wrote or if I wanted to send a private message, instead of going to the members list and searching through pages of "M's" as an example...

The Oakmont (rear Den with 5 slides)

Some of us were lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the prototype of the "Oakmont" during the Branson rally. Everyone that was in the rig with us got a sense of choppiness and slight claustrophobic feelings. This may have been because there were eight people standing in the kitchen at the...

How about a Landmark with a Garage???

I have to say I was really blown away by the Cyclones at the rally, thank you for the tours HT, Lance and Gayle! They were both beautiful and far more deluxe than I had imagined,,, I guess I always thought they would be rather spartan inside. As has been mentioned, a lot more people might...

Towel racks or TP holder in toilet area
