Thanks Trailcreek. Do you have a 2021 Newport. My previous 2 coaches had a 2 way switch, one direction for extend and one for retract. This one only has retract and I have to physically pull the cord out.

My power cord reel keep jamming. When fully extended I can hold the retract button and the cord retreats back onto the reel. As soon as i release the retract button the reel free spools in the opposite direction and the cord becomes all loose on the reel. This causes the cord to "birds nest" on...

I filed a claim this mornig with Tredit an within two hours they issued a full refund for the full amount of the replacement tire. Now i think I'll replace all of them with goodyear G114s. never had an issue with them in 5 years .

My coach is only 2 months old and already lost a sizable piece of one of my sailun tires. Had to stop into a Les Schwab to get a replacement tire so I could continue my journey and the technician told me that it was tire failure not road hazzard damage.

Thanks David. I don't think it will be resolved until dish adds Summit to the TV list for the hopper. In the meantime the remote works for everything but tv functions like volume and mute.

Is anyone using a dish hopper 3 receiver box with a Summit tv? How did you get your remote to program to your tv? I have tried all the codes I could find on this site, including the user guides but cannot find a code to program the remote to the tv. Dish tech said to try codes for Vizio, Sony...

Matt, the manufacturer's date of manufacture on the tv is May 2019. It may not be smart but it is definitely old. I can make it smart but I can't make it younger and I don't understand how you get a two year old tv in a brand new coach. I just think this is taking cost cutting too far.

I'm pretty sure people don't expect to get a two year old tv in a brand new coach.

Heartlands response to my tv issue is that it will not be covered under warranty and they never said that it would be a smart tv.

Thanks Bob. I guess I should have been more specific with my question. I am not concerned with signal strength as I know that is dependent on the position/location of the RV. I am more interested in roof support for the trav'ler itself. Is there a predetermined location where it should go.

Has anyone replaced their manual blade valves with electric valves? How difficult is it to do? My grey #2 won't close and my black water leaks. 2016 landmark charleston.

Thanks Dan, I'll drop the coreplaast and check the valve first before trying the back flush again. I don't want to overflow the tank because it was ready for dumping.

When I pull the handle on the black water tank it will not drain. I have tried the back flush method to see if it is clogged but that didn't work. There was only clean water coming back into the drain hose suggesting the valve is closed. is there anyway to open the valve manually?

My dining room window shade is falling off the wall at one side and I cannot find a way to get the topper off the wall to reattach the bracket. I talked to a tech at heartland and he said there will be two top l-shaped brackets and to find the screws with a magnet but I cannot find any screws...

The size I have is 11.385" X 5.385" as measured on the floor and the screw holes are exactly 11.0" apart. I cannot find this size vent anywhere.
