Doesn't work well for me. I'm using about 6 tie-downs but the freeways around here get "bouncy." Several times I have found my bike(s) jostled enough to wedge one of them between the carrier and the trailer.
Currently, I'm toying with the idea of using some 3" PVC pipe cut in half and bolted to...
My wife is a shortie too. I installed one of these below the mirror. Seems to stay in place. (i.e.: doesn't extend out while traveling)
I'm the opposite. A little large. I wish I had more shoulder room on the toilet.
The rocking and bouncing we have in our North Trail doesn't bother me much, but the wife is quite vocal about it, since I stay up later than she does, and my movement seems to wake her at times.
What are the best products that help alleviate or stop the trailer movement?
Robert. I mailed you a check last week to cover our spot, but it came back as undeliverable.
The address I placed on the envelope is...

Any suggestions/recommendations??
I think the roof has some tilt built in to it (slanted)
even so, it leans so much that if you have tall glasses and bump the table, I'm worried the glass would topple.
The official answer from Heartland.
"The North Trail has a roof transition piece that forces the front 24” of the roof to remain solid. With that said there is no way to install a vent in the front bedroom"
My 2016 North Trail 26LRSS . When the slide is closed, the dining table is almost level. When the slide is out, it's almost a whole bubble off. Table leans to the slide horribly
When the slide is all the way out, there is about a 3/8" to 1/2" gap on the bottom-inside.
Can this be adjust by me...
Yes. Sorry. I edited the post to say bedroom. It currently has two vents. One in the living area and a powered vent in the bath.
The one I want to add is in the bedroom. Gets stuffy in there.
Has anyone installed a roof vent in the bedroom of the NT KING 26 LRSS? There is no way to get any ventilation in to the room except from the one emergency exit window.
Also thinking about replacing the window in the bedroom entry door with one that opens.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Anyone here with a 26LRSS? We don't intend on having a TV in the bedroom. Has anyone removed the wall (only where the bedroom tv mounts) and change it to a shelf or cabinet?
We do have the gas struts at the bottom of the door. I'm going to find some stainless door stays and replace the struts I don't trust the plastic ones.
The two separate keys, I'll mark them or paint them front/back.
The slide "looks" like it's out of adjustment. When fully extended there is a...
What we found...
1. I need more room on the throne between the bathroom door and the sink. Way too narrow.
2. Wife is short. Mirrors on the bathroom cabinets too high. She needs a stool to do makeup.
3. LR slide not level with rest of trailer. Trailer level, but slide leaned out more at the top...
I know that after more than a year, you have (hopefully) gotten your trailer back, but if it were me, I would demand they make the work on it a priority due to their damage.
