    2015 Cyclone 4150

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Haven't been on the forum for a while - work took a crazy turn back in August and I found myself in Saudi Arabia for the next few years. My big girl is sitting in storage waiting my return.

Anyone use or have used the "Bully Dog" ???

I tried the Edge tuner on my 2014 F250, and I regret it. In only a few thousand miles it wasn't sending the right signals to the Exhaust Filter telling it to clean properly. When it finally told me there was an issue, the filter was plugged solid. Since they could tell I had a tuner on...

    wheel chocks

Fortunately mine didn't travel that far - just dropped off the jack that was destroyed. It went down slowly, so no damage other than to replace the jack.

    wheel chocks

Scissors chocks work great, even on unlevel terrain where the tongue is jacked up to make the unit level. I would give one word of caution though. If parked for long periods of time, and changing weather conditions (hot to cold), make sure you check the air pressure in your tires. As the...

Cable hookup and 110 outlet in Loft

My 2015 Cyclone 4150 has the outlet and cable hookups in the loft. In fact, there are so many TV hookups I can watch TV in any room in the house and anywhere outside the RV if I hooked them all up. Master bedroom, living room, garage, loft, basement and outside TV.

    2015 Cyclone 4150

Took her out boondocking at Ironton Park south of Ouray, CO this weekend to do a shakedown of everything while its under warranty. I live in it full time, but wanted to see how she did off the grid. All I can say is WOW! What a way to go camping - or glamping as my buddy calls it (but he didn't...

ATF: Cyclone - Cyclone 4150 Inverter Location

Boondocked this weekend and used the generator for the first time to do a shakedown. Ran it for 12 hours, then shut it down. Ran it for 8 hours the next night and it shutdown because of low fuel (about 1/3 tank left). Put fuel in, it ran for about 10 minutes and I heard the power transfer kick...

    Cyclone A/C Question.

On my 4150 I can run the garage AC and either the bedroom or living room AC. I don't really care to rewire the AC's since I am not an electrician and a close relative to Tim the Toolman Taylor. On a really hot day I will run run the Bedroom and Garage AC's with the doors open between them and...

    2500 vs 3500 SRW

That is a great question, and one that concerned me as well. With a F250, 45' RV and the Safety Hitch adding about 3 feet to the overall length, I am running about 66' - 67' in total length. I mentioned my concerns to Joe Jamison, the inventor and owner of the Safety Hitch Company, and he...

    2500 vs 3500 SRW

Depending on the price difference, you may want to go with either. Not knowing what I didn't know, I bought a 37' TT to pull behind my F150 a year ago. By my calculations it was the biggest my truck would pull and stop safely. After a week, I realized the truck was really at its limit and...

    Full-timing forum discussion (2015)

Re: Full-timing Forum? Does anyone want it? Great idea. Have not seen the sub-forum before. Started full timing in September due to a job relocation, in the middle of the Colorado Rockies. Although things went well, I could have used some insight.

    Rear Living Room

We do the same thing with our 4150. Don't even set up the table in the living area. We use the garage for what ever purpose we need it for - craft room, office space, bigger screen tv to watch while lounging on the patio, etc. Its pretty versatile.

Suburban Heater Plastic Fan Blew Apart

    Which Sailun tire to Purchase

I talked to Simple Tire yesterday about that same thing. The answer they told me was that the cheaper one has a higher speed rating as indicated by the 129L. The better tire is less expensive.

Suburban Heater Plastic Fan Blew Apart

I found a local guy that does work on Suburban products, but wasn't an authorized repair facility. He is now - lol. Suburban did send the replacement parts, but I had to pay the $250 for the service call and time to take it out, replace parts, and reinstall it. Seems like a poor warranty that...

    Greenball Towmaster SS ST235/85R16 F

Does anyone have experience with the Greenball Towmaster SS ST235/85R16 F rated 12 ply tire specifically, or with Greenball in general?  Looking to replace the Blomax tires and leaning towards the Sailun, but came across these at COSTCO locally for a good price.  I'll pay more if these are trash...

Thank you - I'm pretty happy about her decision. Her saying yes and agreeing to move out and live here full time with me in a RV is what prompted the purchase of the Cyclone 4150. Saliun S637 235/85/R16 G. Tire Pressure

Great - I'll crawl under when I get home and check. Running with 3 axles and a spare tire, putting out for 7 tires, shipping and having them mounted is a big chunk of change. Don't really want to put out even more for new rims. BUT - still probably cheaper than having a blowout that tears up...

STORM RELATED: 2 days from first trip of the year and now - No RV

Glad to know nobody was in it and hurt. I know this all stinks, but I did have to chuckle at the "We Party Hard" sign. Keeping a sense of humor helps get through the other parts of an ordeal like this.

ATF: Cyclone - 4150 Black Tank 2 Flush

Thanks - that's what I figured, and that's what I have been doing. HOWEVER, I noticed that while running the front tank flush, it was intermittently flushing TP and stuff out even after it was running clear water (I have the clear hose connection so I can observe). I let it run for probably 20...

    Washer/Dryer Time for 2015 Cyclone 4200

The doorway with the pocket door is 19" wide. The smallest w/d I could find was 22". When I called HL to find out what they based their measurements on or what model fit, I was told they didn't. I was told to take the pocket door apart. Decided I didn't want to do that on a new rig. And I...

    Washer/Dryer Time for 2015 Cyclone 4200

I have a 4150 and I couldn't fit my w/d through the pocket door going through the bathroom. Instead I placed it in the front of the garage next to the rear bathroom. I hook it up in the back bath. It works great for me and I don't get all the humidity in the closet area. If it happens to...

Suburban Heater Plastic Fan Blew Apart

Two days after I bought my Cyclone 4150 last month, about 1 am, I awoke to a loud chattering noise followed by an explosion coming from under the master bed. 2015 Cyclone 4150

I discovered today that running the w/d plugged I to the bathroom, and a heater plugged into the garage area will overload the circuit if both cycle at the same time. The microwave is also wired on the same circuit. Not a big deal, just have to power manage a little.

ATF: Cyclone - Satalite roof mount location

The previously posted diagram is for Cyclone/RW/Torque/Edge implying that they are all interchangeable. Is that usually the case or do they each have their own unique wiring and that is just a general layout? Or do they actually publish a diagram for each model and/or floor plan for each model?
