You know I have said a couple times I thought the slide lower in the middle but was not sure if I was just seeing things because of the larger trim at the end corners of the slide. I am really troubled by the fact that the rubber roofing does not wrap around the inside lip!

I am at work currently so will have to post one later.....however researching slide construction shows that the roof material (rubber) show wrap around to the inside and be stapled under the front interior trim molding. This roof material (rubber) does not even come flush with the inside wall...

Is this normal that it is not sealed all the way to the sidewall of the slide? It seems like a "build" mistake.

We woke up to a lake in our camper this morning. Water was running out of the light above the dining table and 3 other spots in the front of the slide. So we ordered a Newport and love it so far. However, we have yet to figure out how to get the dish service to work on the outside TV. Does it run through one of the other two inside TV's? Also, has anyone changed it over to a swing arm mount so?

He was just hooking up our Dish Satellite and wanted to know where all the coax ran and how the outdoor TV was connected.

Thanks Jim.....I had just found that and printed it off for future reference if needed :-) He says that all he has found so far is info on the roof mount antenna. He wonders what the extra hdmi cable is for and the routing of ALL the cables.

Well this weekends walk-through went a lot better.....that is until we went to try the Induction Cooktop......and it wouldn't work. We found that it hadn't even been plugged in! Which means to me that it was not checked at all when they did the "prep" on our unit.

We did try the magnet trick and it stuck!

This set wasn't cheap.....at least I didn't think so. They were $300.

Well we are going down for a second walk-through ( unit will be delivered next Saturday). This time the unit will be inside with all slides out, awnings out and full water and electric hook-ups. The items that we had found on our first visit down have been fixed so we will be checking them over...

I think we might have. They have all the copies of our paperwork due to our insurance agent not getting me the paperwork in time to show the banks position. They are holding it all until them.

I added Smart Tiles to my back splash and one whole wall in my bathroom of our old rig. It wintered (storage) winters in Michigan with no problems at all.

Well we finally heard something......our new Landmark is at the paint shop and they figure it will be completed and ready for delivery to the dealer by the end of this month!

I was wanting to add some over the island in our new Newport.

I know...it is hard to believe that it has been 3 weeks all ready. I am starting to wonder though as my salesman said that he would send us the conformation when the VIN was produced for our rig and we have not received anything yet :-( Must be the Christmas and New Years holiday season has put...

Well after going back and forth between the Newport and Charleston we pulled the trigger and ordered our new Newport this past weekend! So with that being said we should see it in about 8-10 weeks ;-)

I believe the pictures showing the smaller tv with the storage on either side are either late 2015's or early 2016's. I hope and believe that if you order right now you will get the larger TV without the storage on either side of it.

Have they given you an update on how much longer it will be before your Madison to arrive? Did you go with the full paint option, I know that one takes a couple weeks longer.

Thank you everyone. We have been in both floor plans a few times and I think will go to the dealer again this weekend to spend more time in both. The Newport is the one that seems to have more of what will work but the Charleston is just so beautiful and the living space is larger and feels more...

We are getting close to the time when we will have to order our new Landmark. We have to have it by the 2nd week of April at the latest. My problem is that as the time gets closer I become more confused as to what model I want. I thought for sure I wanted the Newport but the more I look at them...

Oh boy....it took that long from order to delivery? Did you get full-body paint? We are planning on ordering in February (the beginning) and need it by the 2nd week of April. Maybe we better rethink this :-/

What a beautiful rig.....looks way better then in the brochure. That is the full paint option that I would like.

We are planning on ordering a Newport and would love if it would fall in the change over and come in as a 2017. Does anyone know when the change over will happen?

Good Morning, I was told a couple weeks ago that the new unit will have more of a cherry color stain on the woodwork.

I was told the other day by my salesman that they have also changed the wood color in the new models to more of a cherry like stain.
