Re: 2021 Goshen Rally - Discussion Thread
Ray and Anita are planning on the pre and full rally
we are willing to work. Let us know what we can do and where to be
I spoke to Dometic rep at the Tampa RV show about my units not working well.
Shortly after the show I was contacted by customer service, since I was going to be unable to get these worked on Dometic extended my warranty by 90 days.
I just had all three of my A/C units replaced. I opted to pay...
I spoke to the office at Jolly Roger this morning. We are due in on the 10th. They told me the cable and WiFi are still questionable but everything else at the campground is a go. Picnic tables are going back out starting today.
See everyone there in a week.
I am just south of Atlanta if anyone needs info for the area give me a shout
The Atlanta Motor Speedway has opened thier campground if anyone is interested

We have these steps on the back and front doors of our RW.
I am 210 and DW and I have both been on the steps at the same time with no adverse effects.
We get lots of couples looking at ours in campgrounds, seems lots of people are looking for better steps.
As a note when I bought the first...
I towed a TT for 3 years before I upgraded the the 5th wheel.
i had a ProPride hitch for about 18 months. What a world of difference than even the Blue Ox Sway Pro hitch. I would never tow a TT again with out a ProPride, even if I had a dually.
Well you all planned this in my back yard then picked a time we all ready have reservation else where. Have fun and enjoy Atlanta we will be 350 miles away.
I have a 100 psi pancake 120v. With my RW I have a generator and figure I can get the trailer to a tire place on 90 to 100 psi in a tire. I would be looking for the first tire place I could find anyway. Truck only needs up to 75 psi so I should be good.
I have made sewer hose holders out of 6 inch pipe. Cap bolted to right side and cap with to drop in pins on the left. I have a rubber hose (rishon think) that goes in one, it has a 1 inch pvc pipe in the center that the hose slides over to keep it from kinking going in. The other has a piece of...
I had an F150 with the V6 and twin turbos. I was towing a 36' 9500# trailer. I was right at overloaded on the truck GVWR. Truck had lots of power but not a lot of engine braking on down hill runs. I would have been happier with the truck with a V8, would have had the same power but more engine...
Here is info I posted back in April about our RW
Okay I have some info and I hope it helps.
Front black front toilet tank holds 50 gallons drains through the front drain and is the front/front valve
Grey #1 front tub and front sink holds 45 gallons drains through the front drain and is the...
Mine was total outage. Radio shut down, ac shutdown, tach and speedometer froze.
Quit scary the first time with the trailer attached. Second time was just me and the truck not as scary.
headed home on Thursday so an appointment with my dealer is getting scheduled.
On Monday last week started to get off the highway and my dash went dark, nothing. Pulled in to a truck stop shut it down waited a couple of minutes and started it back up everything came up as it should and worked fine. Drove truck 6 hours home on Thursday without the trailer no trouble. Today...
Re: Tight Turns? & Opps Merged
I showed this to DW and told her if I ever did this to take lots of pictures post them everywhere and never let me go anywhere again.

I have a RoadWarrior and I just moved the living room ac wiring to the same break that is for the washer and dryer. We don't have the washer and dryer and don't plan to add at this time. Now I can run all three ACs at once
I have Ford OEM and love it. When the hitch is removed you have a smooth bed. Now when I bought the truck I ordered it with the OEM pucks and I had to purchase a hitch anyways as I did not have a fifth wheel.
I don't think the OEM can be added after the truck is built as the bed has holes and...
Only the first step out of the trailer is adjustable. When you pull the steps out they are all the same height between the steps even if the are 4 or 5.
my first set I measured per the directions at
http://www.torklift.com/index.php/products/steps-handrails/glowstep-revolution
scroll way way...
Just measured from the side of the trailer to the outside of the foot. My 5 step is 45". Of course if you only need a 4 step it won't stick out as far.
My handle is a Carlson Stromberg model AC-544 it's spec say it comes out from the trailer wall 36".
The best price I have found on the steps...
Top step is adjustable in three positions in the first 3 photos look at top step to label. Steps are 8" deep so a 5 step sticks out about 40". I can measure mine when I get home in about 3 hours. PM me if you want direct questions and answers. Fourth picture is a full deployed shot. Fifth is travel
I was curios about this and had time so did some research. It looks to me that the difference is that the truck towing a travel trailer is considered low because it's height over the first 2 axles, the whole truck is below 7'6". This is a class 3. They don't measure height after the second axle...
With having had schinjunk on my SOB the only thing I would have the on is a small wardrobe. They use a very small motor and gearbox, same on all size slides, here is a block to keep the slide in place. The tracks are made of aluminum and the gears are steel. There is a 1" roller that the tracks...
Schwinteks are okay for a small light weight slide but other wise are junk. I will not buy another unit of any brand make model that have schwinteks.
i had an SOB with three slides all schwinteks part of the reason I got rid of it was that one of the slides had 2 motors replaced an needed $1500...
If cabinet/night stand is important look at the Road Warrior 413
The garage can be used for many things and you don't have to have a golf cart/4 wheeler/motorcycle to own a toy hauler
i traded the trailer in about 10 months later and there was never a question about any fading on the cap
The web site says that if you can spray the fiberglass with water and it looks good the Rejuvenator will work. Mine looked great wet. It takes about 5 minutes per square foot to rub this in...
Here is pictures of my sob before and during my restore
I used gelcoat rejuvenator from www.prestoprotech.com.
buy the 4 oz bottle and you will have more than enough.
Well we were still in the park when tropical storm Julia blew up. We rode it out a lot of rain and some wind. Left this morning to misty rain just enough to make everything wet (hair clothes shoe etc)
Home now good trip no trouble. Went Waycross to Tifton and up I75N
