We sold our Sundance TT today. Many wonderful memories with that camper but we decided to go full-time and bought a Columbus River Ranch for that purpose. Thanks to all the Heartland folks in Colorado that made the rallies fun. We may join in again sometime if they start doing them again. I will...
Hello Lynn, our schedule has tightened up. We will now arrive on the 3rd and leave the 6th. Do I need to coord with the campground?
Thx,
Dave Clary

I started cleaning the rig up for a trip next week and found this on the drivers side rear.
I took it to my local shop and their welder was between tasks so 2 hrs later I drove away with a cross-bar support and fixed frame. The welder told me it is very common for RV's/Travel trailers to...
Good luck with the upgrades, it is too bad that with such a strong growth curve the RV industry is experiencing the mfg's aren't looking more toward reducing post sale hangover items that cost them in dollars and rep. Once you get your rig sorted it does make the experience more enjoyable.
Re: Engineers & Bean Counters = FAIL*UPDATE*
I thought I would post an update -
I had new Dexter 5.2K axles, 12" brakes, 15" wheels and E rated tires installed, and I kept the stock springs. We just got back from our first camping trip with the new undercarriage. The trailer is very smooth...
When I buy a house I surely don't expect the foundation to be suspect, but it does happen. We enjoy our trailer and I am going to upgrade to 5.2K axles very soon. If I ever load this thing up for a trip eastbound I would not be able to trust it since we have worked very hard to stay light so...
As you can tell my defense dept computer doesn't like adding text to this site. ;-)
I will also add that I had to have my roof replaced last year due to extensive delamination. This is after all newer line purchased by Heartland, a Cruiser Travel Trailer (Shadow Cruiser), so I'm sure Heartland...
My service center talked to Dexter after talking to Heartland. Dexter told the service center they do not warranty "bent" axles. This means they did not trust my shop to represent the conditions of the axle and the nature of usage. I called Dexter and they are going to look at it and make a...
I'm getting my TT fixed due to a rear axle loosing itsbow (i.e. bent) causing abnormal negative camber. Heartland only warranty'saxles for one year and Dexter warranty's everything attached to the axles butdoes not warranty their axles. I have read many threads about bent axles and itall seems...
Since the trailer normally sits on the axles placing the entire weight in one area of the frame I'm sure it is ok to use your method. If the frame could not take the trailer weight in the center area it would have broken already.
My outdoor shower connector has a PVC piece on the back that appears to have a check valve installed prior to connecting to the trailer plumbing. The PVC piece split and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately there is no P/N on it and the dealer cannot find a reference or number to order the...
UPDATE: My roof was replaced due to the underlayment screws pulling free from the aluminum trusses. The fix was to add wood stringers between the trusses and screw down the underlayment to the wood stringers. A new rubber cover was installed as well. I hope this fixes the problem, the factory...
We were really looking forward to this trip but Sue is scheduled for surgery on June 1st so we have to cancel. See you in September.

Hello all:
I just waned t let you know that our 2016 Sundance XLT 291QB TT roof had significant delamination underneath the rubber cover. Heartland has approved the replacement of the roof and I am waiting for that process work its way through.
If you own a new Sundance TT you should look for...
Sorry folks but we have to back-out of this trip. We will have our 16 mo old grandbaby boy twins with us and our daughter wants to stay at a closer campground. We will see you at Mountaindale later this year.
We were camping last weekend and it was our fourth camping trip since buying our Sundance XLT. The heater functioned perfectly on all occasions including the first night on this trip. After waking up with the heater running constantly (burning up) I was only able to shut it off with the...
Sorry to hear you got too much sun. Devin cooked his shoulders and he had a dermatologist appointment on Monday. He got a face full of unhappy derma doctor. We enjoyed meeting the two of you and look forward to the next gathering. Get well!
Sue, Devin, and I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed everyone. The activities were a lot of fun and Devin is still working on his Bucket O' Candy!!
I think I will have to invest in a quality camera to capture the fun we are going to have. The five bad photos I got on my phone is a testament to that.

@JohnD - you may be right, we were in Swift Puma #36
The maiden voyage turned out to be a great success. My wife and two boys had fun, and naps, which is important when your trying to relax. The winds were obnoxious but that provided the opportunity for family game in the camper. We can't wait until the next trip.
We loaded the TT as best as we could and set camp at Cheyenne Mountain State Park. The trailer is performing flawlessly and the outdoor kitchen is really handy whether cooking on the propane stove or using it as a prep station for cooking over the campfire. We did buy memory foam for the beds...
Thanks Gregg, it will be nice to meet you in person finally. I looks like this will be a great event to meet a lot of HOC members. We will post what food we will be bringing soon.
