Good advice. I am removing my Reese in bed rails and remounting with new brackets for the Ram. Your method to calculate still works. Last resort is to reverse the spring mount to level the fiver if needed.

Looking at the new 3500 Ram. Rear bed height is 39 -40". Seems like that height creates problems in getting a level 5th wheel with my New Reese Titan hitch. Any thoughts?

Great idea. Flexible material and easy to mount with screws and let it extend down a half inch or so. Maybe a bead of caulk on the backside before installing so water doesn't get up behind. Thank you for sharing.

My thought was to fill in area that is worn and then grind it smooth as is done when we hard surface excavator buckets and teeth. The hitch pin attachment to the frame is fine. The problem was created by the Reese hitch which has the old style slide lock .

I have noticed that the hitch pin on my 2010 Sundance MK2900 has begun to have a wear point on the back side creating a little slop in starting and stopping. Has anyone had a welding shop build the wear point back up and then grind it smooth again? Might there be other solutions? Thanks. Rod

Battery voltage is 12.67 amps. I measured the red and white wires supplying the stabilizer switch. I am guessing I need to measure red hot wire to ground? Thanks.
