I took a slightly different path to addressing the comfort of the lower bunk - I purchased a mattress that I store on the top bunk and move to the lower bunk when it is setup to sleep. I replaced the mattress in the upper bunk as well as it was getting old.
But I'm glad you were able to find...
you will find the primary filter under the Generator - accessible from underneath. Also you will find your low pressure pump in the same location. You may find a second filter that is at the end of the fuel line attached to the Carburetor. Newer designs of the Carb have eliminated the second...
Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: MA, Shelburne Falls - 7/10/2020 to 7/12/2020
Yes Jamie, I will be there with My Daughter, her Husband and their 3 kids! WE did it last year and I am hoping that it is going to be slightly more sane this year - but only slightly!
Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: MA, Shelburne Falls - 7/10/2020 to 7/12/2020
Calling later today - I'll be arriving July 3 and staying through the rally... See you all there!!!!
Site 39 July 3-6
Site 38 July 6-12
Not directly related to the Towmax or tires - but last year I found Cracks in my aluminum Wheels and contacted the company the supplied them to Heartland in 2010 when my Cyclone was built. They still had them available but in conversations with the Rep there she told me that those wheels were...
Agreed - if it is a newer rig, it could just be teh mess that the factory left behind - when you start looking around behind panels and such you will see the hidden mess that got covered up before it was cleaned up
also - make sure there are no cracks on the skylight - I had one crack due to age and it leaked into the inner skylight and then into/onto the ceiling - looked like a seam leak but needed to replace the outer skylight.
Thanks Jim
I did get a call back but they do not do customer paid service. But I was given a few leads on service centers to call. Although none of them were here in the New England area. I currently leaning towards taking it out to affinity in Goshen or happy camp ent in PA.

Thanks Jim,
I've been calling them since you posted this and they just do not seem to answer the phones - select service and it rings for a bit then says I can leave a message in the main mailbox but when I press 0 it says the mailbox is full - so I guess they don't listen to the voice mail...
I have read that WAZE professional ( not the free app ) allows you to enter height, weight, and length and will route you accordingly. I plan on upgrading to this paid app before the next camping year begins for me. I have only had to backup once and it was no fun.

Actually looking at the other photos on the MFG site - it looks like the walk in opening is a 1/2 height ( same height as the solid wall ) bypass door.

Thanks Jamie,
I will consider making the trip if I do not find someone in my neck of the woods or along one of my planned travel routes this winter.
I assume you had them doing warranty service but do you know what their rates are like?
Hope we can catch up at one of the rallies this...
It was quite the shock. Mike was one of the honest and capable people I have come across in the RV industry. My heart goes out to your cousin - no one should have to deal with the loss that she has in her life.
Well all - that is a question that I would expect after being off the site for over a year.
Things have been just a tad busy for me over the last year +.
Some of the things that have gone on in no order.
Cancer Really SUCKS and too many of my friends have had to deal with this in the...
Good Day All.
It has been quite a while since I have been on the forum or even to a rally. Life has been very very busy for me and I will post up on the general forum whats up. But right now I need some help. Last summer I was camping out in the Mid-west and found that I had a very soft...
Jim and Linda,

I have a similar issue with my "new to me" 2014 Chevy 3500. I ordered the Chevy/Ford add on but while waiting for it to arrive next week I installed and old break magnet in the same wiring location and that also works ( and it is free ). But it is much larger than the device that they sell to...
Well - I talked with the installer of the brakes from last year - and he provided a work around that works - I have brakes! The part that I need will be here before I leave for my 4 week camp-a-thon starting on the 4th. Duane you may be right but I will see how the factory system works with...
Hitch is installed and we are ready to tow ( at least I thought I was ) untill I hooked up and found out that my GM Brake Controller does not work with Electric/Hydraulic systems... and I need to add a new part... so we search for the part and it is on back order .... somewhat frustrated...
I ad them done at the Lake George Rally last year and the only thing I can say that is close to bad ... I should have done it long before then .. I will never own another rig without Disc Brakes !!! I've only been tested once since last summer - but it was great to not sweat the question if I...
Good Morning all -
First off please let me thank you all for your valuable insight and opinions ( those are the same ). this weekend I pulled the trigger on a 2014 Silvarado 3500 dually wit the 3.73 rear end - flew to Nashville TN to acquire it on Saturday am and drove home. only 60K...
I will likely not make this and that is sad! Next May I will be in Ireland with my Children for two weeks and it looks like it will be the middle two weeks ( runs over this rally ). Then I will be in Chicago for a wedding the last week of May and the first week of June.
Looks like a...
Today is the day that I turn back the unreserved sites to the campground - This location and the time of year is awesome and the sites we turn back in will go fast - if you were thinking of attending I would strongly suggest you give them a call in the next day or so.
Also if your name does...
No problem on the Hijacking -
I went into this knowing full well that discussions other than my questions would happen - that is what I love about this club/forum. Great people and diversity of experience. I personally have spent the last 6 years towing with a 2500 Diesel and it has...
Re: Advice requested
Hi Jamie,
no not sure when I will find the right late model - I just can not see paying for a new one - for what I need I rather save the $$ and take someones Cast off ... :-)
All,
I have been towing my Heartland Cyclone 3010 since 2011 with my Chevy 2500HD short-bed. the little Red truck is approaching 300K and is starting to worry me some. So I have started the search for a replacement. But having only owned one truck in my life and reading what I can I...
